Fun trip back in time, and comprehensive, but the self-published nature comes through hard, with grammatical and spelling errors throughout and a frustrating tendency to repeat (often verbatim) points made previously - sometimes on the same page. No offense to the writer; perhaps this will get a more professional printing someday, with an editor.

This is bound to be the definitive BTS of BWP for the foreseeable future, the author did an amazing job gathering everything he could from everyone he could to really give the FULL account of the film, no missing tapes to be found years later. If you're a fan of this movie or horror in general, you owe it to yourself to give this a look.

Matt Blazi leaves no rock pile rock unturned with 8 Days in the Woods. Everything you could possibly want to know is laid out in amazing detail, leaving you to believe that he knows more about the film than the actual creators. You won’t find better information than in this book.

This book wonderfully takes the reader behind the scenes of a cult classic which, for many of us, has been very mysterious since 1999. However, I strongly encourage the author to have a proofreader run through his works with a fine-tooth comb in the future. The spelling and grammatical mistakes make the text difficult to get through at times.

A very thorough documentation of the making of the legendary movie. From the pre-planning on to the premier, this book's got it all. It was quite the tricky endeavor to pull off, but you can do a lot with a little.

A good book, but was really looking for more photos of the making of the film. Unfortunately most photos are of the people behind the scenes, which frankly weren't interesting.

It's a book even if you only have a passing knowledge of the film will be be of interest. It's history, is one struggle and the birth of viral marketing, before the term was even known, at the beginning of the internet.A film that started the found footage genre as we know it today.This book will make watching the film again a fresh experience, understanding the real stress of 3 young actors left alone in the woods, with minimal direction, limited food, and only the clothes and equipment they came in with.It tracks a fantastic and stressful journey through the woods, out to the Sundance Film Festival and beyond, with very little money, and a lot of passion.This passion is shared by the author, Matt Blazi who with the help and blessing of those involved in the making of the movie, has detailed everything.
