Easy to install. Worth the buy. Great material. Very sturdy and completed the look of the bike.

It fits 2001 sportster with stock exhaust. You can install without removing exhaust. Just need an extension and a swivel. Takes about 2 hours. The longer bar is exhaust side. Short bar sift side. As for painted thread on engine mount you could run a tap. I just got a slight bite of a thread and ran it down with my cordless impact a few times back and forth. That’s about it. Lock tight everything. Does not come with the two bolts after you take off mid control on shifter side. Honestly instruction sucked. Didn’t really use them. It’s pretty common sense. Obviously there cheap Chinese quality. This was a 1000 dollar bike for my kid to learn on. If it was really going to be ridden a lot. Spend the 400 on real ones

Don’t waste your time or money does does not fit a 1995 Harley Davidson sportster

Let me start off with saying I liked the product, until I got to the brake lever. If you have stock exhaust pipes and don't wish to replace or manipulate them or take a chance with bending the control arm pipe, I would consider another option besides these particular forward controls. I even tried switching the control arm pipes around to see if the shorter one of the two would work, it did not. The description doesn't say anything about "won't fit with these pipes".

I took this to a pro Harley Dealer to install as I'm too old to crawl on the floor. Would not fit where it should have. had to dismantle exhaust and other parts. One plate does not fit right and unless you grind or bend it (which could void any kind claim if it broke), when you end up it will be a little crooked. I can live with that but it cost me a good chunk to get it mounted. I tried to get the seller to reimburse me for the cost of the product but they kept saying it would fit my bike. Bull. I had 5 hrs. labor @ $80.00 per. I was willing to forget the extra cost and review but this outfit is just too arrogant. Not for the home mechanic. Sorry

Look good for price. Seller good to work with. Bike fell over on gravel and broke a piece but seller sent replacement fast.

Installed on 2002 Sportster. Had to shorten one of the rods. It took 8 hours to complete. Directions could be better.
