When my scalp decided it wanted to be extremely sensitive and dry, I was lost. I had always just used whatever shampoos I wanted. Now, I can’t use anything other than this. I tried head and shoulders, didn’t work. I also tried the “naturals” version of this due to the ingredients being more natural than this one, but it didn’t work at all. I also tried the medicated version and decided this one worked better for me. This one works AMAZING! After trying different kinds, this one heals my scalp up and takes away the itchiness within 2 uses. It doesn’t make my hair oily at all, I like to wash my hair once to twice a week and with this one I can easily. It does have a strong scent but it’s not a bad scent to me so I don’t mind it, plus it works so well I can use any conditioner I want, so I just get a good smelling conditioner! Honestly I don’t care about how much is in the bottle for the price, because I would buy this stuff no matter the cost, but it is actually a great value due to the fact you don’t have to use a lot for it to work! If you have severe dry scalp, THIS is the shampoo for you!!!

I’ve been using this for about a month now. I used it once a week, and another shampoo once a week as well, so basically alternating between two shampoos. Honestly, the results were amazing when it comes to dandruff. It completely cleared it, which I was really impressed with. The only downside for me was how drying it is. My hair felt very dry, and even my scalp felt kind of dry too. So overall, it’s definitely effective and does what it’s supposed to do, but just be aware that it can be a bit harsh if you use it regularly.

I've been using Head & Shoulders for many years. Not sure why, but suddenly I found myself having dandruff again. Whether it's aging, diet, or a minor scalp infection, not sure. I tried another shampoo that was pricey, but despite the reviews, it actually seemed to make things worse. Selsun Blue stopped the dandruff in a week. My only complaint is that it has a bit of a funky, almost sulfur smell. Selsun has selenium as its active ingredient, and if you know anything about chemistry, selenium compounds can be stinky, and are on the same column as sulfur in the periodic table. (Probably the "Se" in Selsun is for Selenium.) It's not an awful smell, but doesn't smell as good as other shampoos. I haven't found anything better for quickly eliminating dandruff though.

I have tried every hair and shoulders shampoo for years. But my dandruff wouldn't go and I could cause more snowfall than russian winters by shaking my head. I used this for a week (3 days a week) and there was barely any dandruff or hair fall occuring. After a month, there was not a single flake of dandruff left.
