Best bar soap
We love this. We we have been using a soap for years and it doesn’t dry out our skin, it smells great, washes well.

A staple in our home!
Dr Bonners is one of the best soaps on the market. They use natural ingredients which we love to see. The smell of the Rose Hemp is so crisp and clean. It also lathers up soooo well. It’s the only brand of soap my family will use.

Maybe not magic, but the best for me
I've had terrible acne for what seems forever - we're talking two courses of Acutane and I still have issues. I was using Neutrogena and other Salicylic acid body washes to attempt to clear it up after the rounds of Acutane. Nothing was working and it just kept getting worse to the point I wouldn't wear some of my wardrobe because problem skin showed. Enter this soap. Now, I'm not saying it's perfect and I have gorgeous blemish free skin, but the instance of issues and the time to heal have both shortened. The severity of the acne is far less, and I'm not worried about buying a low back/bare shoulder bridesmaid dress anymore. I still and probably always will have problems, but this makes it manageable and frankly, the best remedy beyond actual medication. Also, it smells yummy and my skin is soft. Beware, if your hair sheds in the shower, you will likely have to snake/unclog more often than with the sulfate-based body washes that are so common, as this tends to have a small amount of residue after each use. Nothing that is really worse than a bar of Irish Spring or Ivory or Dove or etc.

LOVE this soap
I have very very sensitive skin. Before this I had been using Ivory, which I like, though it is a little drying. I love the scent, its a very subtle rose - not overpowering. I also have had lots of trouble with acne for many years and have tried EVERYTHING. This bar is miraculous and I will be buying it for life. It moisturizes well, better than Ivory, but I wouldn't recommend using it for your hair...it made it a little too dry. I also make my own natural laundry detergent (which cleans much better for me than cheaper store bought brands) which I had previously used fels-naptha or Ivory for the soap base. I definitely had to use softener with either of those, making the detergent NOT natural. With Dr. Bonner's, there is no need to buy softener and its natural. I grate this soap, put it in a processor to make it as fine as possible, and mix this with two parts of each borax and washing soda. (One bar comes to roughly a cup of finely processed soap, so I mix this with two cups of borax and two cups of washing soda = five cups of detergent) I use about a fourth a cup for a full load

Great Soap -- Not Great on Hair
After reading you can use this for many different things including body and hair, I decided to give it a shot. I'm all for multi-purpose products! The smell didn't smell like rose to me at all... Which was the reason I went with this soap in the first place. It has a very medicinal, herbal smell. I'm not too fond of it but I use many natural products so I'm used to it. However, I was disappointed. The feeling of the soap as a body wash leaves your body sticky when still in the water like many other bar soaps. However, unlike those types of soaps, your body still feels clean and it does not feel like there's a film over your skin. As soon as you dry, the feeling is gone and my skin feels fairly hydrated compared to my old body wash. And finally, for hair... While I've read that you can certainly use this for hair, I wouldn't. It feels very much like putting regular bar soap meant for body onto your hair. It will go in and lather quite nicely, but then when washed out it will leave your hair feeling like one large clump on your head. Like most natural shampoos I've tried, it didn't remove enough oil from my hair either. So while it is effective, I would have to use this daily to keep my hair from getting too oily and I don't like how it makes my hair feel after I wash it.In sum, this is a great natural soap for body! I have sensitive skin and using it as a body wash has cleared up my dry patches and greatly improved the state of my skin. Just don't expect it to smell likes roses and be wary of washing your hair with it.

Healthier option
I was looking for a healthier soap, I use the Hemp rose pure castile liquid soap for my body, I also wanted a matching bar soap. Buying the 6 bars gave me a better price for each bar

Easily lathers up in hard water
Love this soap bar. I was struggling with getting much of a lather with regular soap. I live in a hard water area (London) and this bar has been great, it lathers up quickly and makes shaving much easier

Unpleasant smell
There was a hint of rose pedals the first time I used it but since then it gives out only an unpleasant odour, almost a stench, and I think the culprit is the hemp oil. The soap seems fine but I wouldn’t buy it again solely due to the smell

Lovely smell of roses
The soap has a lovely smell, was delivered on time. Ordered this castile soap to make DIY detergent for prefold cloth nappies: 1 bar of 140gr soap, 2 parts washing soda (280gr), 2 parts (280grams) Borax or Borax Substitute, resulted in much better smelling detergent for nappies than you could buy in a shop.
