I use this peppermint soap to bathe my dogs before putting on flea treatment to sort of clear the slate. Through the cold months I don't use flea treatment, only bathe with peppermint soap, and they have not had any fleas. It also makes them smell nice for a few days, especially after rolling in something special in the pasture. My Border Collie likes the flavor; it's a bit of a battle to keep her from licking herself before I get it all rinsed off, but she is unharmed by it. I'm hoping she'll fart candy canes, but so far, no luck there. I also use this soap in my horticultural oil/ insecticidal soap recipe. I never truly got into it but saw online that it works great for cleaning shoes without needing to place them in the washer. It's amazing for cleaning, they look brand new. I diluted it at least 5 to 1 in a foam dispenser and used microfiber clothes. Use 3: one for the foam, a second wet microfiber cloth with just water and a third to dry off. No need for a washer/dryer mess and clean shoes! This is pretty concentrated so I filled two foam dispensers for washing my hands. I still have concentrate in the original container. Great for everything! I've read it's good for washing clothes and as body shower as well. I have terribly sensitive skin and my hands are doing good with it. I got the peppermint one and it smells great! Great value for the money if you ask me. Probably cheaper than buying hand-soap refills of cheaper soap with lower quality ingredients.
