Sun Joe 24V-X2-BVM143-CT 48-Volt IONMAX 143-MPH 283-CFM Cordless Blower Vacuum Mulcher, Tool Only

My second or third fall season of using this yard vacuum. I have a lot of rock areas you where you can’t use a rake. Three sets of batteries completes my two yards cleanup most the time. If not, the first set is charged up enough when the third set dies.

I have the corded Sun Joe 605 mulcher 440 CFM power and an old Worx 500 with 350 CFM. I thought I'd try going cordless using this, bad idea.1. Suction power is almost nonexistent on dry leaves. It can pick up individual leaves one at a time. Forget about a pile, ain't happening. 2. Ergonomic design mandates that you have to support the 11 pound weight in order to direct mulcher tube to ground. Tiring and annoying in short time. 3. Quality not good. Flimsy, thin, bendable tube doesn't seem to be able to last. Plastic impeller, other companies use metal. There is no way this machines power can be 380 CFM, maybe 80 CFMI like the Sun Joe 605 but not the cord. It's obvious that battery power isn't capable of performing mulching tasks. Sun Joe should scratch this and redesign for something that works. This one doesn't.

SunJoe I purchased LESS than 2 months ago quit working. As of May 20th, my month was up to return this product, but considering ALL the purchases that I’ve made throughout the years with Amazon I would like to think that AMAZON “would do the right thing” and allow me to return the product and get a full refund put back on my AE.

As long as you are only sucking up small leaves with no little sticks, this works great. It clogs with larger leaves with stems and little sticks. I ended up picking the leaves up and putting them in the bag. The best thing about this seems to be the fact that the batteries work with my other sun/snow equipment.

The product does not work like I thought it would! The power is not strong at all, I put it on high and the blower does not have force neither does the suction.

This unit functions quite well.

Thought I would love being able to blow leaves into pile and then suck them up but that doesn't work.1 Not enough suction to pick up more than a few leaves at a time, when there is a pile it just jams up2. When you try to flip selector from blow to suck leaves get stuck in the SELECTOR leaving both part way open and neither side works and you must disassemble to correct problem.3. Not enough suction when leaves are wet to pick up even solitary leaves and since I live in Oregon they are normally wet.4. The tube is too wide for good blowing and too narrow for suction.5 Final complaint it is HEAVY. With 2 batteries it weighs a lot.I have several Sun Joe products and like them. One of the reasons for buying this unit was to save money because I already had the batteries. Really wish I had not purchased this unit

At full power, it's best to do a quick pass first to pick up as many easy leaves as possible. I need about 3 full charges to pick up 90% and the rest I leave it be.Sucks up a lot of dirt and dust but it takes 10 seconds to dump the bag and it mulches nicely

I needed the batteries and charger for another tool so this tool was just a bonus anyways. It does the trick fairly well but doesn't have a ton of power. The run time is more around 20-30min on full charge running full blast (which you need to run to have enough power). I was surprised that the mulcher could handle pop cans when I accidently sucked one up. Ok tool for the price.
