Clover Needlecraft Amour Crochet Hook: 15.00mm, 15 mm, Blue & White (CL1059)

I own a set of clover amour and a soft touch sets in the most regular sizes (from 2mm to 6), don’t get me wrong, I love them, but I ended up buying a set of Tulip hooks of the same sizes and I love it more than those. However when it comes to jumbo hooks I will chose clover above any other brand, the quality, the feeling, the comfort: they are the very best! I highly recommend the clover hooks in jumbo sizes for jumbo yarn (blanket yarn, velvet), durable and a great value for your money!

Clover Amour crochet hooks are the best! I can comfortably crochet for hours without pain. I have small hands, and I find them very easy to hold. This particular size is quite large, but the hook was still easy to work with. I was able to crochet 4-5 strands of yarn held together with this one, 15 mm hook.

Perfect for all my crochet projects. The price was pretty good. You can't go wrong with Clover's, durability, ease of holding... The hook is sturdy without being not heavy. Clover's been around for years and years, and there's a reason why... They make the best products on the market!

This is the best crochet hook for making just about anything! It is easy to use and doesn’t get snagged in the yarn.

I find that I prefer the Clover hooks over others I've tried. They seem to glide better and more comfortably fit in my hand.

✫ Tapered tip like Boye aluminum (not the inline type you'll find with Susan Bates) ✫ NOT a soft/cushy handle like I first expected. The colored handle is actually a hard material with a rubber like texture, but its shape is ergonomical. ✫ Most hooks are roughly the same length as Susan Bates standard aluminum and a half inch shorter than Boyes Aluminum. ✫ While I was initially disappointed that is wasn't soft, the shape really does help keep cramping and fatigue at bay. ✫ If you search ergonomic crochet hooks on Amazon, you'll see hundreds of sets that look very similar to these. They are NOT the same, but they have similar qualities. Same length on most; a slightly different handle shape; a softer handle with a more rubbery texture (which I don't like); not as smooth of a hook. ✫ Clover also makes a "Soft Touch" hook with a gold handle . The oval shaped handle is nice, but its not soft and the hook itself is very shallow and difficult to keep the yarn in. Frankly, I despise them. ✫ Susan Bates makes a Soft Handle hook. The soft handle is basically a foam pencil grip with no real ergonomic shape, but I love there extra long handle and sometimes prefer these over the Clover Amour. These are a full inch longer than Amour. ✫ Small and medium size hooks are a metal with a brushed nickel look and a smooth finish. Larger sizes are a seamless plastic.

Was concerned that I would get a knock-off based on other reviews, but this is the real thing, and it's so comfortable to use.
