What is the Ph level after the water is filtered? How many gallons or pitchers can be filled before the Ph level drops dramatically per filter?

We found the ph to be around 9-9.25. We filter into a large glass container throughout the day, so with it sitting in that, it comes out around 8.5 or so. We filter throughout the day usually 10-12 times and the filter lasts about 1 1/2 months before the ph starts going down.

Do these filters fit the Pitcher of Life 2nd Generation? They look the same but you get 3 for the price of their 1. Please respond...thanks!
