LOVE this mat! Our baby’s motor skills have developed so much since we got her this! She has plenty of space to play and roll, and she likes to look at the patterns and pictures.She’s bumped her head on it a couple times and wasn’t bothered in the slightest- a welcome change from the less forgiving tile floor. It’s not super spongy, but it’s just enough to cushion any falls. Some other reviews described it as “egg carton” material and I’d really have to disagree; it’s way thicker and sturdier.It’s SUPER easy to fold and unfold; I can even do it while holding my baby in one arm. We scoot our coffee table off to the side, let her play until nap time, and then store it away at the end of the couch. Very convenient!My only issue is that it does puncture somewhat easily. If you have a dog, you’ll definitely need this mat to be out of reach (in a shut-off room or playpen) and/or you’ll need to teach your dog to stay off of it. My dog got spooked by a vacuum and accidentally jumped on the mat, putting a few holes in it. But we’ve been using it every day for about a month now and it seems to be holding up well. We’ll see how it does over time.One design oversight (not major enough for me to downgrade the rating, but still would like to point out) is having the road print on the side with deep fold creases instead of the smooth side. The smooth side would be much better suited for rolling toy cars.Overall, we absolutely love this mat! Very glad we decided to buy this one!

This thing is wonderful for the most part. Easy clean surface for sure, but the road side has the divots(?) where it folds and a lot of junk accumulates in there- it’s a bit eye opening how messy we are. My toddler loves the road side but we flipped it for that reason.Super thick and makes falling a lot more gentle or playing on hands and knees easier. Soft enough that I find myself lying on floor a lot but firm and supportive as well.The only con so far- I’ve implemented a no-shoe rule and we don’t have any pets but somehow there are a few small tears in the overlay of the foam. The baby hasn’t noticed yet so isn’t picking at it and they’ve remained relatively small.

This product is super, super light. I was honestly surprised when it arrived. With that said, it’s durable and easily foldable. It’s nice to be able to put it away so easily and be able to do it by myself since it’s so light. My 9 month old loves crawling and pulling up in his playpen with this mat. He’s also had a couple falls from pulling up and the mat was comfortable enough to soften those little falls. I would highly recommend for a convenient way to put away your play area or for leaving out. It’s basically a durable, light foam mat for our baby.

This floor mat is great. It is reasonably tough, withstanding older kids running on it with shoes on. It is bright and easy to clean and easy to fold for space-saving storage when not in use. We love it. The one drawback is how firm it is. We thought it would be softer. We bought it with the intent of our kid to learn to crawl but she drops her face to the floor. That's why the mat. It is too firm for faces but is fantastic in other ways.

This is great for our 10 month old. The carpet has very little padding left in this rental house so we got this for his play area. Now if he lays down too quickly it doesn't hurt his little noggin. Also as the months went on and he started walking it was great peace of mind. Now that he's always walking we fold this up as a divider and he likes to chase us around it. Great investment. 10/10.

I got this for my son, it works great. I put a play pen around it and have him his own area. Allowing him to be more independent as he learns to crawl and pull him-self up. This mat is durable and thick, so when he falls on his butt he isn’t hurt or if he rolls back. I have hard wood floors and needed the extra padding and it works great!
