Review: A Well Made Shoe Well Worth Buying - I am a diabetic with peripheral neuropathy. These shoes are the most comfortable ones I have ever worn, and very durable, to boot. These are my third pair. My first two pairs are 5 years old and show very few signs of wearing out. The flat, wide soles with squared edges and squared heels keep my feet from rolling or rocking, giving me the support I need while walking or even standing. I am 78 years old, and the hook & loop straps make it easy to cinch them up. I also like that they are made with leather uppers that clean up easily with a little buffing and polishing. I am buying this pair to replace a pair I donated a pair, still in good condition, to my brother-in-law in Mexico. Caution: keep the sticky H&L straps away from certain cloths, blankets, or clothing items because they will grab onto them!
