BARRY'S BAKERY FRENCH TWIST ORIGINAL (PACK OF 12)

I am a long term fan of these cookies, they are a reasonable low calorie, low carb choice for something sweet to eat with my morning coffee. In fact I was able to loose weight on Weight Watchers by eating 5 twists per day (as opposed to a yummy fresh hot croissant from the local coffee shop). I used to purchase these from Trader Joe's but when they stopped carrying them I was thrilled to find I could purchase them from Amazon. Unfortunately after a year of excellent consistent quality I received a bad batch. I hoped that it was only one container but it turned out to be the entire carton of 12. They were hard as rocks, hard as dog biscuits. They tasted fine but you could break a tooth if you are not careful. How do you bake a cookie that hard? Was it the temperature of the oven? Was it the wrong type of flower? Maybe the humidity was wrong (climate change perhaps). I don't know, but I did not realize the purchase could be returned or replaced by Amazon. Unfortunately you can only do this for one month from date of purchase. Who knew.. not me. So be it. I love these cookies and I hesitated to purchase them again but I will take one last chance and see what happens. I will let you know.

i have been enjoying these delicious and healthy Barry's Bakery French Twists for a number of years.I was able to, once upon a time, purchase this product in Walgreen's, until they suddenly stopped stocking/selling them. I was so disappointed, and then I found them here on AMAZON.com for a very reasonable price.They are so yummy. My favorite flavors are the original and the raspberry.Enjoy a few Barry's Bakery French Twists, when you need/want a light snack that is sweetly satisfying.And,,,,,,,they are great for those who, like me, enjoy dunking their edibles in some tea or coffee, even hot cocoa.something yummy, healthy, and without the guilt...

I thought I was ordering 12 boxes of the larger twists, which come individually wrapped and are 60 calories each. However, I received 12 boxes each containing a bag filled with small 30-calorie twists. They are indeed delicious! I agree with other posts that these are so good it's hard to stop without eating the whole bag, so I probably won't order again as this presents too much of a temptation! But yes they are very, very good!(It would be nice if these were offered in lots of 6, instead of 12, then different flavors could be tried without having to order so many.)

DO NOT ORDER NOW!We are addicted to this product.After I placed an order about 10 days ago, we received a case of wild raspberry but NOT the original.I contacted Amazon on 11/30/13 at which time I was informed that, inasmuch as this is food product, Amazon will not accept a return but will replace or issue a refund. The Amazon representative re-ordered the 'original' for me, Another case of wild raspberry arrived on 12/03. When I called Amazon again that evening, I was told that they would overnight me a case of the 'original'. Yup, another case of wild raspberry arrived on 12/08/13. When I spoke again with Amazon the evening, after spending a considerable amount of time on the phone with me, the representative assured me that he had corrected the problem and that I would receive a case of 'original' via overnight shipping. Not only did nothing arrive the next day or the day after that, but on the third day I received a text message that the order had shipped on 12/08/13. Guess what arrived today (12/09/13): another case of 'wild raspberry'.These guys cannot get it through their head that the problem is not that of a person or robot who is pulling and attaching a shipping label to the product. Either their software processes 'wild raspberry' when 'original' is ordered or no one has a clue that their entire inventory of Barry's Bakery French Twist is 'wild raspberry' rather than 'original'.However, if you like 'wild raspberry' and want to take chance, place an order for 'original'.

First off, these cinnamon cookies do taste excellent and are very low calorie!! However this source sends tiny boxes that are over priced!

We love this product and can get it through Amazon at a much better price than at local high-end food stores (if you can even find it there). The downside is that there is a lot of damage that occurs during mailing, even with great packaging. You get A LOT of crumbs. We just save the crumbs in another container and sprinkle them on ice cream, yogurt, or fruit--so it works out for us. This is a great product if you have to watch your weight, cholesterol, sodium, and other such things. Lots of lovely sweetness and crunchiness for not many calories.

These taste great and the price isn’t bad but the shipping ruins all of that! Maybe I’m spoiled with the free shipping but this is 20.00 for shipping! Even half would be doable! I love these but can’t afford to get them as often as I would like because of the shipping!

I really have not much to add to all the other reviews. The original flavor are my favorite. They are so addictive I can polish off a box in one setting. Which reminds me, these are packaged in boxes, not tubs as described. These are much cheaper thru Amazon. I pay $3 at the local store and they are sold in the paper sleeve. I like the box because they protect the contents. My order thru Amazon arrives in better condition than the store bought. I have ordered direct from the company and with postage they are very expensive; but available in tubs if that is your preference. Be sure to close a partial package securely because they quickly pick up moisture and lose their crispness and become chewy. I hope these will continue to be available.
