Hopkins Towing Solutions 28701VA nVISION Back-Up Alert with Audible Back-Up Warning 3156 Style Light Bulb

I couldn't figure how to contact the seller, but I was pretty shocked. This is not the first one of these devices I have bought (although I don't remember if the last one was this brand). It technically does every thing that it claims, which makes it hard to justify returning it, BUT the backup siren is so faint that you need to be standing by the bezel of the backup lamp to hear it!My previous installation was on a Suburban with the same type of product that I bought from JC Whitney. The construction looks similar (the previous one was a 3056 base I think) but this is pretty much useless. Is this a problem with this particular unit or are they all so faint to not warn anyone of the truck backing into them. Who knows?

Works great in my hummer. Install is just like replacing the bulb. Love the looks I get when backing up my lifted Hummer. It is comical. I have a backup camera, however because my Hummer is an 2007 it is aftermarket and there is no emergency stopping. Living in Florida with lots of elderly and just stupid people overall I hope the beeper gives people a heads up?

I originally bought this to put in my truck, but you could barely hear it over the exhaust. I was going to return it, but I stuck it in my grandmothers Focus instead. She loves it and it seems to work well for her. It at least gives a bit of a heads up to pedestrians when shes backing out of parking spots.

Install - Simple. .. remove current tail light / back up light, unplug bulb, plug this one in & re-install tail light on vehicle.. Bulb (although very small) is plenty bright. Not very loud, but should grab someone's attention when your backing up… Not annoying... Good value for the money...

This item is easy to install and should be on all vehicles as it lets others know you are backing up. I have had these on my last 4 vehicles as we have little ones in our neighborhood riding bikes on the sidewalks and people walking and this item lets them know I am backing up.

After I installed this, my tail light was broken by a hail storm and the tail light that this was installed in was half filled with water and this was actually under water. It STILL WORKS. At first it did not sound the alarm when in reverses but now that it has dried out completely it does.

Does not work on a 2019 F150, will not plug in.

Didn’t fit my 2014 Silverado, not even close, and amazon gave me a hard time about the return shipmentThey looked really cheap made,

I like the product and I use it in my older mini van that doesn't have a backup camera so it alerts people around of a vehicle backing up.

Works as advertised

Beeper changes tone but other than that it seems to work

Worked as advertised however not loud enough to warm anyone in the vicinity of the vehicle
