CarharttMen's Men's Slim Fit 6 Pkt Scrub Top

Fits as advertised
This scrub top fits like most of the other scrub tops which I’ve worn. There are two side pockets, the chest pocket and one on the sleeve. The ripstop material seems to be of high quality and is durable.

Scrubs for a Male in a world of scrubs for Females.
The only thing I can complain about in a female dominated field such as nursing is the difficulty in finding scrubs that are for men. Right amount of pockets, right material, right cut for wear. All those problems went away when I got this style of Carhartt. So impressed I immediately ordered two more. I have been a loyal carhartt consumer throughout my life and when I started nursing school two years ago we were allowed to pick our scrubs as long as they were the school prescribed color. There was no doubt what company I would be going with. I originally wore the original Carhartt rip stop tops, but these are a great improvement. The material gives just the right amount stretch, comfortable for 12+hr shifts, and doesn’t bunch up or chaff. It says slim fit(I’m a larger guy) but fits just like my original carhartt scrubs. The only thing I could ask for is to include two more pockets on the front like the 3 pocket tops(can’t have too many pockets).

As advertised, soft material.
Wish the material would be a little more rigid not as loose. But all good Carhartt makes great products.

Good and comfortable scrubs.
These are a decent fit and the material is thick. I like all of the different pockets and loops. The left seam near my hip did start to rip a little though.

If you have common sense youll buy these too
Have you ever been at work and just be inundated with so many pockets weighing you down? Maybe you struggle with super durable ripstop material that is both stylish in fit and comfortable? If you are like me and every human ever, then you understand none of those things are problems either. These scrubs are awesome. I changed my entire selection over to these and intend to use them forever. Unfortunately, they are made so well I might never get the chance to replace them with more.

Stretch fabric makes it easy to take off.
I have 6 pairs of the regular non stretch carhart scrubs from when i was a histotech. they served well on the job and I continued wearing them through medical school, but they have begun to come apart at the seams. stitching came apart in the pockets and my thighs wore through the crotch. this problem mostly relates to the pants. the tops are still as functional as new but I have broad shoulders from weightlifting and often have to have my wife peel the scrubs over my head. the flex in these has enough give for me to easily remove them, more like a t shirt. I need to go make a separate review for the pants because that is where the stretch really shines! one recurrent issue is that the fabric holds on to moisture. I live in the humid south and sweat a lot at baseline. my back is often soaked by the time I get into the hospital. these stay damp for a while, but I have similar issues with hospital scrubs so it may not make much difference.

Pills after only a few washings.
Went from a career in carpentry into nursing, so, a lifetime of familiarity with Carhartt. These Scrubs are a perfect illustration of carhartts recent history: a legendary construction workwear company who decided they needed to become a more general outerwear company, with mixed results. I won't be returning these because I suspected many of my complaints would be the case, but took the risk because I have some brand loyalty left over. So, the blame is mine. Ripstop nylon is awesome for some stuff, but makes for a stiff and heavy scrub top. Ripstop is a great fabric that gets less great every time you wash it. How do you think it would turn out if you put your awesome new tent in the washer and dryer after each night you slept in it?Your answer is correct.Side entry pockets are a terrible idea for nurses is a thing I learned from these scrubs. The badge loop at the shoulder is great, as are the breast pocket divisions. The tapered cargo scrub pants Carhartt makes are actually very good, with good pocket numbers and placement. They are not a color match for these Navy Blue to Navy Blue, which is odd to me, but I recommend those.I would definitely buy Carhartt scrubs (and have) but not these.

Comfort and Quality
Bought this for my son who is in a College program requiring blue scrubs and he loves it. He says it's comfortable and it isn't overwhelming on him(he's quite thin). It's also thicker than the other scrub tops I bought him. He likes the fact it says Carhartt on the sleeve and says he gets compliments on it, lol.

This is a really cool shirt.
It fits awesome and has a bit of stretch. I'm a carpenter, it's fun to branch out a bit style wise. Actually this shirt is really practical. It is easy to move in and has a couple of low key pockets if you need them.
