MOUNTO 1/2HP 3000CFM 12" Portable Axial Blower Exhaust Fan Confined Space Blower

Out of the gate this fan produces quite a bit of noise so if you are looking for a blaster of a fan in your home...I'd pass. If you have a need to push a lot of air, you're going to like this. I got this for miscellaneous work needs. Noise is not the key consideration, moving air is. I used this just the other day cutting James Hardie siding outside and it pushes the dust away like a champ...no need for masks in my opinion. I have used it at work to expedite the drying time of faster drying joint compound 30/45 minute type USG stuff and I've used it to simply keep the air moving in tight quarters or hot situations at work. This is a beast for the small diameter..........it rocks like no one's business and the best part is the tilting aspect...you can fine tune the fan to shoot where ever or adjust every time without propping it up or whatever other way like most of the other fans you see of this type. I can't say enough about this fan...it's built like a tank, welded on what looks like the old school steel wheels...you will have to give it your best shot to even consider denting or damaging this fan. Heavy duty and worth the price paid!

This thing moves massive amounts of air and keeps the exhaust fumes out of my garage when I warm up my hotrod in the morning.

Surprised this item didn't have variable speeds( on and off only)...had to buy a rheostat for variable speeds

Using it to shoot the warmer air from the ceiling of the barn outside to encourage a cooler interior, and it’s working remarkably well. I remember when I first went house hunting running into a home with a “whole house fan,” and they told me how amazing it was. Didn’t end up in that house to give it a go, but if it’s anything like my crude setup with this little monster, I understand now.Currently, my aging A/C in the house is struggling with the heat, and I’ve rigged up a similar setup with the same fan, and to my surprise, it’s actually working.While loud, the unit is sturdy and effective, and at this price, the final combination if its factors is looking like it’ll lead me to buy one or two more for future projects. Absolutely BLOWN away - HAHA!

We had a flood in our basement, and needed a way to keep the air moving. Had one fan, but needed some more. This fan worked well in keeping the air moving. I do not know if it can really move 3000CFM or not, but it was sufficient to help dry out a room's carpet fairly quickly. I didn't test for suction, and I can't be that impressed about the noise - It sounds like a jet engine when powered on. But hey, for what it did, I can put up with a noise for a few days. Keeping the doors closed mutes the noise quite a bit.

I used this fan on multiple projects and lent it to other people. Everyone respects the power of this fan. When you lift it while it's blowing, you feel that this thing wants to fly like those jet engines do. It can blow or it can suck, depending on the orientation, and you can attach the duct hosings on both sides. which is super useful for various applications.

I love it. It’s light, easy to Carrie and fits any room but it came with the handle broken. I didn’t have time to return it cuz I need it. But Where I can replace the handle? Where do you sell only the handle??

this is an excellent heavy duty high performane fan, but it is NOT "Perfect for many typical ventilation applications" as the description says, because it is very very loud, and would only work in applications where the noise would not be heard by people or animals. Although it moves a ton of air, i had to return it due to the noise.
