So, they will be “restocking” and selling PRE-ORDERS. But they sell out in 20 min or less (at least it was that long for me). I was lucky and was awake at 3am (PST) for the pre-order sale and bought mine. I bought from SHIP & SOLD BY AMAZON, not a 3rd party, bc there’s been problems and reports of them switching out the battery for older versions. And paying $350+ ain’t worth it no matter how desperate you are. No this is NOT limited, it’s SPECIAL edition. Meaning there will be restocks in the future! If your lucky like me, my purchase was pre-ordered & expected to come next month but it got changed to this week? A welcomed surprise nonetheless. This means there’s a chance for everyone to get their pre-ordered switch earlier than expected! Good luck on getting your switch! **Q: Will there be a restock ?** A: If you can catch it right when Amazon restocks, they sell at MSRP ($299.99) for about a minute or two, then the price skyrockets. **Q: Does this come with a digital download code for the game?** A: No, it does not come with a game. **Q: Does this switch have the upgraded battery life?** A: Sounds like this is version 2, so yes. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aunt of the year award! *by on Reviewed in the United States February 17, 2026* Best aunt of the year award. There was a little scrape on the screen but functioned and holds charge and she loves it. The colors of the remotes were different from her brother so now there is less fighting! Love it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tons of games to choose from *by on Reviewed in the United States April 28, 2021* Great system. My son owns one but has it with him at college so I decided to get one for myself and I must say it's got such a huge selection of games. I still have my 3ds but didn't realize how much Nintendo had expanded on game selection and variety. I'm a huge animal crossing fan so I bought this version of Switch since I played the first one on the 3ds. Their online eshop, accessible through an online connection, has an almost endless selection of games. You can buy physical copies or digital copies of games and some are digital only through the eshop. As a longtime gamer (I own a PS4 and original owner of a regular NES I bought in 1989), I can honestly say this is Nintendo's best system since you can play it on your TV but also take it with you (portable) like a 3ds. You can also play games on it offline so you don't have to always be connected to the internet. This is a console that is great for all ages of people, young or old and when I'm tired of hack and slash on my PS4, the Switch has many chill titles of games to relax with. I'm 52 and enjoy mySwitch a lot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nitendo switch *by on Reviewed in the United States March 28, 2026* Great console for great price.
