There are surprisingly few cheap good ways to tee off 16mm2 cable, and this is one of them. The fact it also can go onto a DIN rail is an added bonus, and we very much like the use of allen key screws rather than phillips so a decent clamp can be made, as 16mm2 cable is very stiff.There are annoying shortcomings in the design however. Firstly, it ought to be just slightly bigger so things are a little more spaced out which makes getting 16mm2 cable into the hole less fiddly and annoying (16mm2 cable is unwieldy to work with inside an enclosure). Secondly, why on earth they didn't put two clamps per 16mm2 hole is beyond me, then you could split one 16mm2 cable into five or have far more flexibility with routing. Thirdly, the metal block might be just about big enough for 80a, but it would surely get quite warm with that current for the amount of metal in there. Keeping things under 60a would be wise I think.I'll be running 50a peak, so these will be perfect for me. And they very much solve the problem of cost effectively and conveniently distributing from 16mm2 cable.

Decent product.Fits nicely on standard din rail. The 3 larger terminals (16mm2) can enter from the top or bottom. The 4 smaller terminals can enter from the bottom.The larger terminals 3mm HEX smaller are 2.5mm HEX.Feels well made, connections hold well and tighten up without snapping etc.
