Giant Gummy Bear - Blue Raspberry - 5 lbs

My 10 yr old son bought this for himself and was super excited when it arrived. We've had a 'grizzly' fun time carving it up like a Thanksgiving turkey the past couple weeks. I was concerned that it would dry out quickly, but so far it has kept its original chewiness and hasn't gone hard at all. We just kept it in the original bag in a cool, dry 'cub-inet' and we made sure to squeeze the air out of the bag every time. The only minor issue is that my son actually thought it was a bit too sweet. That has stopped him from going to town on it and giving himself an 'un-bear-able' stomach ache. Overall, a very good purchase and I highly recommend it for gummy enthusiasts to share.

Based on the reviews that I had seen, I was a little skeptical about the giant gummy bear, but I went for the blue raspberry one based on the fact that it seemed to have the most positive review ratio. The box was slightly damaged upon arrival, the most noticeable damage was on the yellow bear on the front of the box, but the flavor and quality of the bear makes up for it. I had noticed that some reviews stated that the bear received was hardened and nasty, but the one I received was very soft and delicious, and not at all hard to bite into. It tastes very much like blue raspberry, but not overwhelmingly so. I was expecting it to taste like it was watered down, or just like slightly flavored gelatin and sugar, but it actually tastes like a true gummy bear. I am very happy with my purchase, and I definitely plan on ordering another for myself on Christmas or my birthday.

This was exactly what I wanted for my husband. He’s a huge gummy bear lover, (no pun intended), and I was a little nervous about what the flavor would be like. I almost assumed it would be a dull, maybe even plastic like taste. But we were delightfully surprised, the flavor was intense! It was so good, but SO sugary. One bite had our teeth aching. Definitely a treat for a nibble here or there. But 5/5 because it was exactly what I wanted for him. It’s been a month and we just now finished it.

Instead of a cake for his birthday our nephew wanted one if these. I was not there when it was eaten so I can't tell you personally. From what I heard though it was awesome. Probably going to get one for my kids next birthday just to see. I did get to see it though and hold it. Feels like what you'd think a 5 lb gummy bear woukd feel like. It was June and hot here so we kept it in the fridge for a few days just in case.

Did I need a five pound gummy bear? No. Will I order it again? Absolutely! It was a bear, it was a gummy, it was raspberry, and it was 5 pounds of deliciousness! Why are you still reading this! Go order it now!

This actually surprised me when it arrived, I got this as a gift for a youngster in the family and I couldn't believe how excited he was & I was. The flavor is just awesome! Better then the little gummer bears and I HIGHLY recommend for a gift because this was just way to cool to see this in person and try it as well! Get you one ASAP!

Was very disappointed in the taste of this. I bought it for my 17 year old son for Christmas. He had always said he would love a giant gummy bear and was surprised when he opened it Christmas morning. That was until he tore it open and took a bit of it. I could tell by his face it wasn't what he expected. I tried it as well... it taste like medicine. Nothing like a normal gummy bear. Very disappointed that this will be money going in the trash.

First off, don’t know what purpose this serves, but my daughter loves it. The bear itself came and the face was kind of smooshed. Not a big deal. My question is, how the heck are you supposed to cut this dang thing? I’ve tried everything short of power tools! Surely they don’t expect you to eat it in one sitting, or take bites off of it? Might I suggest start selling it in a resealable bag?
