Anji MountainStandard Chairmat, 44" x 52", Dark Cherry

I recently had hardwood floors installed in my office. The plastic chair mat was causing scratches around the edges. Either small pieces of dirt were getting trapped underneath, or the pad itself was scratching it. It also slid around, causing my chair to roll off of it at times, which also made marks on the floor. So I wanted a non-slip pad with a soft backing.This is perfect so far. It has a nice, soft felt backing that is also non-slip. It doesn't move at all. The cherry-colored bamboo looks great on the floor. It's also much easier to roll up and move when I clean than the stiff plastic one was.I love it, and don't regret paying the extra money.

Purchased this mat just under 1 year ago --- nice looking, and seemed quite an improvement from the classic 'plastic' mat that slipped round on the rug below the desk.While it generally stayed in place (only requiring adjustments every 10 days or so), the quality of the bamboo did not last --- the slats began to split, and the wood/finish began to flake and crack within 3-4 months, resulting in wooden splinters. Today, of the 22 slats that are linked, 10 are flaking/cracking. It's now time to replace the mat as the splinters are big enough that the cat finds them interesting to attempt to play with, and chew ...It was very tasteful in design, but did not hold up to daily use, with me being a large guy on the mat. I suspect I'll need to go back to a sturdier plastic mat.So careful if you're a daily user and/or a larger-framed person --- it may initially look good, but mine didn't last 1 year.

Nice finish, but although our carpet is not extremely thick (and am using a clear plastic one underneath this mat), probably should have gotten deluxe (thicker) version for a stiffer, less flexible surface under chair. Still, it will protect the carpet (and looks better than the plastic mat) so I'm satisfied. (Definitely worth it a the bargain price I got it from Amazon Warehouse...)

I haven't had the mat long but the slats are already starting to separate. It's only been maybe a month. I use it every day at my computer I hate the plastic ones because they form dimples where the wheels sit but if this gets much worse it won't be use able at all. So I guess the plastic ones are better.

This product is very nice looking, accurate to color in picture, and feels smooth to rool on. It comes rolled up, and is basically 2" slats that are placed very close together with a cloth underside to hold them together and protect floor....never slides out of place, maybe because of the tiny black dots on cloth side, which appear to add grip to mat(?).....only two small annoyances...one is the there were lots of those little black dots on my floor when I unpacked the product, but I haven't seen another since...and the thin spaces between the slats can gather lint, dirt, and crumbs, but that's a necessary evil for it to be rollable, and it's not that hard to clean....I like the carrier sleeve it comes with, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again.

Works great on Berber carpet very strong and it rolls up when I clean my room would recommend to anyone looking for a portable chair mat

really is nice quality and quickly delivered as promised. I would order this again. Adds a lot to the room and protects our new floors.
