Berne Men's Heritage Hooded Jacket, Small Regular, Black

Love my new Berne jacket. I bought a medium at first but returned it for a small. Im 5'8" 140-150lbs. Its comfortable and warm. I washed it after trying it on to soften it some. It easy to work with it on and can comfortably wear my hoodie underneath. Great, sturdy, comfortable and well made 👍🏽

Excellent durable, well made coat. Good deep side pockets, and two pockets inside (one zipper pocket about phone size, and one smaller one (maybe big enough for a trifold wallet) with velcro and two compartments. I am 5'10+" and ordered an XL-tall. I probably could have got by with a Large-regular, and it would have been a "perfect" fit and come to my waist. I like my coats to hang a bit lower, and be loose so I can wear 4 layers if I have to. It's reasonably warm, fine in 30 degrees over a sweatshirt. My only gripe, and the reason I didn't give 5 stars, is that the inside is lined with some fleece material, instead of the silky smooth polyester or whatever the sleeves have inside. It catches sawdust and woodchips, and doesn't shake off. They are stuck like velcro. It's not a big deal if you keep your coat zipped up, but yeah if the inside of the body was like the sleeves, it would be perfect. Excellent coat.

I'm a woman shaped like a 2x4 and this jacket does not fit well at all. I should've tried it on longer before removing tags and washing it. The jacket is very short and super tight around the waist, causing it to ride up constantly. It's super big and wide in the chest and shoulders and the material is stiff, so it makes you look like you're wearing football padding. If you're a slim, broad shouldered guy who likes shorter length coats, you'll like this one, but it's not for me.

Great jacket. I have a long body and it was long enough to cover my plumbers port when I bent over . It was also broad enough to fit my barrel chest. The only thing that could use a little more room was the sleeves right around the wrist area. My hands are a tight squeeze thru the holes .

I returned the jacket because the small size was somewhat snug (I wear a 38 chest size). The style was good though. The duck cotton probably requires some "break in" because material is somewhat stiff but appears very durable.

I ordered a 2xl tall, I wish I had ordered a 3xl tall as it is rather tight.
