I have a lot of these pens and they seem to work well. I would like to get the version which has the pressure top to "keep the pressure high so the pen can write vertically." That is not the case with these refills, but at least the work for a reasonable price. (Note I got some refill for the 80's with the power end but the ink is dried up after 45 years. Who knew?)
