Nespresso for the WIN
My Nespresso broke after having it since 2017 so I had to buy another asap! Chose this because it was the next newest model and would be here in 2 days. I love it!!! The only thing is the cup holding platform on this one is plastic and the one I had was a nice heavy metal one, so it feels cheaper on this one and less sturdy but the coffee itself tastes just as delish! I LOVE the white color too!

MY FAVORITE PURCHASE OF 2024
If you're considering rbe nespresso vertuo enough to be consulting reviews, just BUY IT. My journey towards owning my nespresso started 6 months ago when I first began browsing Amazon for espresso machines. I quickly became overwhelmed at the sheer amount of options, the exorbitant prices of many, and the less than stellar reviews of the options within my initial budget. Without settling on any one in particular, I went back to using my keurig style machine and spending $30 week at Starbucks. September came about and with the busting time of year, schook started and my work as a beautician picked up greatly. I needed espresso and the coffee pids at home weren't cutting it. I'll partially blame my 3 year old who learned the phrase "pumpkin loaf" and started demanding a Starbucks trip each morning for the ridiculous amount of money I found myself spending each week. I almost completely stopped using my coffee maker at home. That prime sale we had in early October came about and I once again considered buying an espresso machine. I knew i didn't want to become a barista... my life is busy and I need simplicity but stellar morning lattees as well. The nespresso was on sale about $50, much closer to my modest $100 budget, and the reviews were the BEST within the under $200 range. It's easily been the BEST purchase I've made all year! It came with a sampler set of some delicious capsules that helped me find some favorites (chiaro and bianco doppio), and i love how fast it produces a delicious double espresso! It's to die for! The crema is delicious and thick! And the best part is I've barely spent any money onStarbucks! I use some steaned oatmilk and a dash of splenda to make my morning lattes and they taste better than what i woukd order from coffee houses and are much healthier and lower in sugar! I've bragged about my nespresso to almost everyone i know, and I'm excited to make a cup of yumminess for any of my family and friends who stop by. My morning and afternoon lattees are so easy to make and within no time I'm enjoying delicious pick me up! The machine is unlike anything I've used before but extremely simple to get the hang of and start using. There is an app you can download and connect your nespresso to via Bluetooth that can help you with functioning, troubleshooting, brewing and ordering more capsules. They even have recipes on these! I highly recommend this machine and cant believe I went so long without it! If you want a simple system, that's affordable and produces delicious espresso and coffee beverages, this model is for YOU! It will pay for itself within the first 1.5 months in my case.

Complete disappointment
I was looking forward to getting the Nespresso Vertuo Next. I have had a Keurig for years, and after tasting coffee made in my sisters Nespresso (original) I was ready for the step up.I opened the Amazon packaging, which was the usual pristine Amazon packaging (5* for that) and noticed that the Nespresso box was damaged. After taking pictures, I opened it, to realize that this was quite obviously a customer return, not a new machine. Still, I went ahead and opened it. The box of capsules that came with it was also opened and some capsules bent. I figured I could straighten those easily enough and proceeded to set up the machine. Per the instructions I ran through a cleaning cycle. Good thing, the water that came out was the shade of light coffee - very dirty with particles. I ran another cleaning cycle. still dirty. It took 5 cycles to get more or less clean water.I should have given up at this point, but the next morning I made a cup of coffee, and it was very good. This morning (day 3) I made 2 more cups, also good. Then it stopped working completely. Can't make coffee (wasted one pod, and these things are not inexpensive (compared to Keurig), can't run the clean cycle, can't even run the empty water cycle. So it's going back. The other thing is that the Nespresso Vertuo Next is LOUD. I have it upstairs in my office. My wife, downstairs, asked me I was doing that was so loud. I was used to being on work calls while making a cup of coffee in my old Keurig. Would not be possible with this model of nespresso. Also, the locking mechanism is different than what I expected. Other models have a touch pop-up lid, this has a manual lock that takes some force to close and lock. In terms of an easy to use coffee maker, this model doesn't make the cut.Overall, this was a very poor experience. I'm going to try again, with a different model.Overall impressions of the experience, very poor.Overall impression of this model, also poor. Loud (very loud), harder to operate than other Nespresso models. The coffee that I was able to make was good. It didn't seem as hot as other machines I've used, and cooled quickly.I'll see what a Vertuo Plus is like.

Smaller so it takes up less counter space but with the same fabulous coffee flavor
I've had a Vertura Nespresso in the past and loved it. I really LOVE my Vertura Next Nespresso. It's a little smaller and the perfect size water tank for me. It arrived in perfect condition and in a timely manner.
