Longevity is Worth the Price
These strings are meant for the road, long jam sessions, and the long runs. Clear and bright for as long as they stay on. I play different styles: punk, rock, and metal with both pick and finger style and even through the sweat and dirt of many shows, these strings make it through. Learning jazz and classical works wonders with the bright and clear sound. It is a preference and leaves a lot to your instrument and amp. Besides the rare breakage (of ANY bass strings) and just treating yourself, there’s not many reasons to change these strings. The tone LASTS! If you’re gonna be the bassist that changes the strings once in a while, at least make it Elixir! Lightweight Funcional Playable for hours and hours

Elixirs Are The Best
I've been using Elixir strings since receiving a "test set" many, many years ago. I used the nickel sets for a long time, but have gravitated to the steels for some more high end crack. They can handle my skin, which kills uncoated strings in a week or so, and I can get about 90 days out of a set of Elixirs with extensive use. Great value for the money because even at 90 days, they're still good for most folks' needs as far as sound quality. Never had a bad set, never had an issue. Quality, long life, great tone.

Great long lasting tone
These are my go bass strings. Sounds bright and the fat botton bass tone is the greatest. Go get some

Five Star Bass Strings
Unless they make an Optiweb Stainless Bass set, these are the best, brightest, longest lasting Stainless Bass strings on the market. If you play hard though, or have nickel frets, you'll find your self getting a fret job eventually. Use with Stainless jumbo frets for best tone. These are in fact a well known brand string which Elixir buys in bulk and then coats the windings of, with their patented polymer coating(s). I love these on my fretless Aria Pro II, bright and poppy and expressive- and yes, even stay in tune well. Five Stars

Insanely good for touring musicians
The price tag is capital S STEEP , for me anyways but they're beyond worth it ! After playing so many shows you're quite obviously going to be tired so maintenance doesn't take as much of a priority as it should , with these though? My strings are never not bright and like new ! These maintain their tuning and tone stability no matter what they're put through , I don't even have a guitar case , I use a gig bag and these are STILL in perfect condition. Using a stingray bass I need bright strings that will compliment the naturally bright tone of the guitar, and these have never disappointed. Always bright , always in tune , always smooth . I don't think I'll ever choose another brand for my bass strings.

LONG lasting, bright, zingy, and full. Balanced mids, smooth lows, crisp highs.
I've been string chasing for decades. I always come back to Elixirs. I prefer the brand new, fresh out of the box, round wound sound. I blow through a pack of most string brands after a week or two. With 4 basses in my rotation constantly gigging, recording, and practicing... I would blow $100 per month on strings easily. Elixir has solved this. Both the nickels and steels sound great. The nickels are a bit warmer and the nickels are a bit brighter. However I would consider them both to be a more slap, shimmer type of string. Again, that's exactly what I'm seeking. I get 3 months easily out of a set instead of the usual 2 weeks. I've pushed them as far as 6 months on basses that aren't used every day.

Pretty good- keep tone for about twice as long as normal strings. Not a miracle.
These sound good, but IME they keep their tone for about 3 months- which is about double a normal string. So since they cost twice as much the only benefit is less string changes (which is OK.)

Orijinalliği konusunda şüphem var
Tellerin orijinal Elixir olmadığını düşünüyorum. 2 aylık teller görsellerdeki gibi kararmaya ve dökülmeye başladı.
