I was a size 10-12 when I got this and it fit really well. I got it to go with my steam punk Halloween costume, and it fit the outfit perfectly.The sleeves were a good length (I'm 5"8 for context) and it was comfortable to wear all night.I wore a waistcoat over the top, so I can't comment on how sheer it is, but from memory I think it was okay.

The top took a while to come and was folded in a package the size of an a5 envelope.The top is quite pretty but quite see through, but for the money it's a good buy. The size is good as long as you follow the chart.

I’m 5’2 and a size 10/12 I got a large and I can wear it more as a dress but it’s very comfy, I got it for a pirate costume and it was perfect for that

Looks fabulous, sleeves can be a little bit of a pest but as long as you are careful they are fine,

I'm usually a large in everything so I ordered a large and boy was it long. It's more like a dress! So id definitely size down if you're after a top. But if you're after a dress that practically screams a naive Victorian child then you've found it.
