A great extension cord
A great extension cord for the price. It's a good quality item with good, solid connections. It seems durable for every day use.

Great deal on a 25 footer however ...
This is a light duty cord for less then 15 amps . Most people would be better off with a 14/3 which costs nearly twice as much if they can only afford one cord for around the house . They are about $23 this was $12 . I am using it for a battery tender in a dry area so their wont' be much draw or amps . I received a quick lesson on this when using the same cord of a different length with my generator during a power outage . I forgot to think about the gauge and took one of these 100 footers and the fuse kept blowing when I tried to run my air conditioner or it ran poorly with the tv and computer on at the same time and circuit too. I had done it in the past with my 50 foot 14/3 cord which was just barely able to reach . Turned out it was the 16 gauge cord as well as the extra length getting hot from drawing past its amp limit of 15 . Put it on a quality 14/3 cord marked for more amps and had no issues . Since I often sleep with the gen set running the air I made sure to write a note and put it on the gen set not to use anything less then 14 guage . It was surely a fire hazard . The smaller the number the better the cord or more amps it can safely handle . It is the exact opposite of what a layman would think but you can see it when you compare as the cords get thicker . Overall I like woods products , I use the cords and timers and have found them to be good quality at a very affordable price that competes against other products very well .

Should have a 3 prong plug
I purchased this and the cord is of good quality, but the only problem about it is it does not have three prongs on the plug at the end and sometimes it doesn’t connect to everything it needs to connect to because of this issue other than that it’s a good cord and it seems to work well

It's an extension cord
This is a nice extension cord. It's heavy duty enough for power tools, and not so long as to get in the way. The ends are very nice quality. It's perfect for working in the house or out on the deck , and easy to wrap up and store afterwards .

Good Short Work Cord...... Don't Waste Money on Heavy Gauge Wire when You Buy a Short Cord!
This extension cord is at the short end of the spectrum for work site or shop use. On a job site you would typically run a heavy duty main cord with an AWG 12 or 10 gauge wire, put a 3-way on the end, and then run this light duty 16AWG cord from that to your hand-held power tool, work light, shop vac, whatever. Because it is not terribly long and you are not trying to hang 6 or 8 tools off the end of it, it doesn't need to be a monster gauge wire to combat undue voltage drop. The lighter weight makes it easier to store, lighter weight on the back of your power tool when you are using it, and inexpensive enough that you can afford a couple of them so that each tool you are currently using can have its own cord. That saves time and aggravation of having to constantly keep changing the cord to the current tool. EXAMPLE: I set one up on my mini shop vac and another on my DA sander. Then when I am sanding and prepping both tools are ready to go all the time. Also perfect for just running across the shop or workspace if you have a nearby outlet where once again the runs are not long and you aren't trying to run a whole job site off the cord. It is more than capable of conducting enough power to run just about any tool or device that you could run by plugging directly into the wall socket with the possible exception of an air compressor. Circular saws, sawsalls, drills, drill press, sanders, vacs, work lights.... all OK. So go ahead and buy yourself that AWG 10 or 12 gauge wire for the main power feed cord at 75 feet, but from the end of that to your tool use these. Don't waste your money paying for copper in heavy wire gauges that you don't need in a short cord. Well insulated and suitable for outdoor use; I doubt a little rain or snow would harm it.

The size and quality of this extension cord was perfect for what I needed it for. I mounted my Ring floodlight camera right above the middle of my garage door. The only issue is that there was no power to connect the camera. I ended up drilling a hole so the extension cord could fit. I also sliced the input end and made the wire the right size. Connect the wires with electrical caps and it works perfectly.
