I tried to look up videos on the product and there are very few that help I don't see any that matched the product exactly.2: As far as I can figure out the temperature control is only in Celsius and there is no way to change it to Fahrenheit. This is slightly annoying but can be figured out.3. There is no humidity gauge so it is hard to control what the humidity inside the incubator is which seems to be an important factor in hatching eggs.4: The area in which to put water for humidity needs to be refilled at least every other day if not every day but doing so lowers the temperature of the incubator every time which interferes with the incubation process.5. Once hatched the chick was caught up on the wires hanging down and they had to be taped to the side. We had one out of 16 chicken eggs hatch and it needed to be assisted on the 25th day. I bought a humidity and temperature gauge to put inside and plan on putting a wet sponge in the area for humidity control hoping to increase our hatch rate.Update since original review...we purchased a humidity/temperature detector and found that at even the maxed out temperature settings of 40°c/104°f and encased in the foam outer casing the temperature of the unit averages 92 to 95°f. To hatch chickens you need approx 100.4°f. Also it is difficult to regulate a consistent humidity level. These are the three things most important for incubating eggs:1. Consistent and accurate temperature - this incubator seems excellent though we didn't verify2. Regular egg turning for the first 17 days - top notch - much better than the tilt method3. Consistent and accurate humidity - not possible with this incubator. No humidity sensor.Pros: - the egg turner was a major factor in purchasing this model - it did as it was meant to do: the eggs turned regularly and for as long as I programmed it to - it is quieter than our previous incubator by a lot; even the egg turner is quiet - the customizable ability to use smaller or larger eggs is nice - easy to program once you understand the basics of how the buttons work - easy to see through the bottom to monitor eggs/chicks - egg candler: I admit I thought this was silly but after using it I will say it is a fantastic add; it made marking the air pockets super simple and works for all size eggs we hadCons: - no humidity control or monitoring whatsoever - what is the humidity? we have no idea. This is a major fail in my opinion (and as evidenced by our low hatch rate) because it is one of the top 3 needs for incubating. It is so sad to see chicks die in the shell because they cannot finish the hatch. - the only way to turn off the egg turner is remove the rollers and unplug the connector switch - because of the egg turning rollers, the eggs pile up at one end and need to frequently be moved back to the other end of the rollersFinal review: We like the idea of this design most especially because of the egg turner, but not knowing the humidity and being able to adjust as needed caused tremendous anxiety over whether our eggs would hatch. It's an investment of time and attention (not to mention the eggs) that was mostly wasted.
