I have locs with perpetual dry, itchy, and flaky scalp. I've tried everything. I've tried mango and lime no more itch spray. I've tried half a dozen oils for dry and itchy scalp. I've tried all the dandruff and dry scalp shampoos. None of them remedied the situation. They all provided a few minutes of relief and none helped with the flakes. I bought this loc twist and braid oil along with the super 8 shampoo and medicated grease. Before trying the shampoo and grease I used this oil on my scalp. After applying, I has ZERO itch. This lasted several days. I actually forgot to oil my scalp because it wasn't itchy (like usual). After 5 days I examined my scalp and there were no flakes and still no itch. I can't believe how much this oil has helped. I have never had an itch free scalp even before locs. Buy this if you have dry, itchy, and flaky scalp!

I used the sulfer 8 grease as a child and loved it. It definitely moisturizes and leaves your hair very greasy. If you use too much it will run down your face and neck so be careful. A pin sized hole in the top will do, but it definitely takes the dryness away.

I realize not all sulfur -8 products have active sulfur in it .. this is one of products that doesn’t have sulfur in it ! It’s just held of oils … I still use the product, but I mix it with sulfur ointment!

I have a very dry and flaky scalp and someone recommended sulphuric 8 products. After using the shampoo and conditioning grease, my scalp was almost instantly better. I was my locs weekly and usually by day 3, I’m itching and flaking. That definitely did not occur with the shampoo and the grease. However, the grease smell is too intense for my liking. I have the nose of a bloodhound and I could still smell the grease on day 6. It wasn’t as strong as day 1, but I could still smell it and I hate it. The oil is a much better smell and had the same effect for me. No itching!!! Small flaking here and there but I’ve only used it twice. Nothing has ever worked this fast.
