A smart phone can act as a timer/stopwatch. Other options are alexa/siri, etc. For normal cooking timing, i use alexa or siri and its very easy and effective. But when i want stopwatch function, these fail and the option is to use a smart watch. But its rather clumsy as you have to press so many buttons. When you are trying to check every 20 seconds then it becomes very clumsy. So i got this timer which seemed simple. I have a more elaborate timer but my purpose was to get something to count up with one button press.I mainly need it for making neapolitan pizza where you need to check every 15-25 seconds and the whole thing is over in 90 seconds. This one meets my needs. Just one button press starts/stops it. And simultaneously 2 button press resets the count. You can of course use it also as a count down timer. Or as a count up stop watch. Small, colourful & easy to operate.

All well with display and sound. You can always trust ikea.

at first glance it looks like a plain janebut look closely and its a product with a good finishing and works welloverall its worth buying and the quality and built is very nice
