WOW, drawing inspiration from all 5 seasons of the USA show Leverage, this is a fantastic show!
I just watched all 16 of these episodes over the course of about two weeks with a family member, and WOW, this show is remarkable! The Korean show draws inspiration from all 5 seasons of Leverage, and weaves together an intricate storyline that works, on so many levels. Equally impressive is the fact that this show stands incredibly well on its own, never feels like a re-tread, and never felt like "oh, right, I saw that in the U.S. version, I know what comes next", instead it was like spotting Easter Eggs, "ah, from the Ice Man Job episode! Too Cool!" "He's their Lattimer... only... oh... WOW!"The first job this team takes is while Tae Joon (their Nate) is fighting to save his son's life... in the U.S. version Nate's son had died and he was an alcoholic for a while before the team was pulled together, so very different origins, instead this team has, as a whole, a more vested interest in Tae Joon's grief, as well as "battle" with those who set these dominoes in motion. If you like a show that keeps you on your toes, following the pieces of a puzzle as they are put together, giving you credible revelations, as you plot to take down the bad guys, this is a great show!
