MasterVision Magnetic Tape FM2020-1 Each

This stuff is awesome...we use it at work to make tons of stuff (name tags for sign-in boards, borders on dry erase boards, tag for product shelves, etc.). The adhesive front is very sticky, but can be removed if wanted. Magnet backing is very strong. My only compliant any time I used the product was when you cut a small length it tends to try to roll back up, but if you bend the piece (opposite the way it wants to coil) it flattends right out. I've also used it at home for miscellaneous projects - i.e. had a cupboard that wouldn't stay shut so 2 pieces created a good connection, calendar was too heavy for magnetic clip so used a few small pieces, etc.

First order of this tape was great. Strong magnet. Good adhesive. Next two orders (total of four rolls) were poor for adhesive. Does not adhere. Items separate within hours. A mess. Attempted to contact vendor. No reply. Looking for a similar produce anywhere else.

I make and sell greeting cards to benefit our local library, and I've used several rolls of this tape to store my dies in binders on cardboard 'pages.' The tape is easy to cut to the correct length and the adhesive binds well to the cardboard 'pages.'

The actual quality of this magnetic tape actually seems to be pretty good. The reason for the review of "OK" is that the tape not quite as strong as I had hoped. I have not used other magnetic tape so I cannot speak to how it is compared to others. I am using these to attach printed labels to my toolbox drawers. Unfortunately they are easily moved around a bit if you brush them while opening or closing the drawer. If you were using them for something that would not be touched often these would be just fine and would certainly not fall off.

I sent it back. Old and cracked.

This thing makes a wimpy fridge magnet seem like a rare earth magnet with a 200lb rating. Seriously weak magnetism. Bought it to hang perler bead art on my fridge, put 2 strips about 1 inch each on the back of a piece that weighed maybe 1 ounce, and it fell in about 3 minutes. Terrible.

The tape comes in a roll, so it was difficult to stay flat and attached as I wanted. I used double sided tape to help, but it just didn't stick all that well

I was expecting actual magnet rolls. I honestly do not know if it could hold anything up magnetically by itself. I actually wonder if it has enough strength to hold itself onto anything at all. Maybe that's what the adhesive side is for, magnetic must be for decoration, for people who like to look at magnets? I don't know. Truly don't know. If the product actually did what it was intended to do, I mean.... It doesn't. It just plain doesn't. My screwdriver has more magnetic power than this thing 🤣 waste of time and money in my case.
