They do get pretty hot so I had to make sure they weren't touching any surfaces. I wish I had gotten the tips they sent about removing the bulbs from the Strand prior to hanging because they are packed so well that I ended up dropping them and breaking bulbs while trying to get them out of the packaging. Good thing they send 2 extra bulbs per pack. I needed them all! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, but not very durable. *by K***I on November 6, 2016* I purchased this particular set of string lights for my camper awning based on several requirements. FIrst, they had to produce adequate lighting, which these do, and they product a nice warm glow; not the harsh, blue-white gaudy light produced by LED lights. Secondly, they needed to be a long strand, so I was not connecting a bunch of lights together. These were the perfect length. Thirdly, they must be durable. THIS is where the lights fall short of my expectations. While hanging the lights, a few of them gently tapped each other, breaking the filaments on 2 of the lights. I was pleased to see that the rest of the strand stayed lit when a light bulb failed and thankfully, 2 extra bulbs were included. Over the course of a 4-day stay however, 3 more bulbs failed. This is just too high of a failure rate for me. This is unfortunate, because this is the perfect product otherwise. ### ⭐ 6-7 bulbs are not working.. *by S***. on October 16, 2015* The product arrived on time but the product was not as described. Globe lights look good but are useless if 6-7 out of the 25 globe lights do not work. I am not planning on sending it back because this is just waste of time. I am sorry but this product should have been tested and verified to be fully functional before its shipped. I am leaving this feedback so others are aware that its very much possible that if they order from this here, they can expect the quality I got. I saw some other reviews on this product who have talked about the same problem; not sure if its from this seller.
