**Scroll to bottom for 6 years of use updates**I have a 7 1/2 year old Golden Retriever. She has been on Connectin Chewables for almost 2 years now. They work wonders! We do lots of distance running and long (3-6 mile) off leash hiking. During these hikes she is a high speed wild girl likely covering 10x the ground I do (think sprinting 30 miles). At 5 years old she was getting sore after our hikes. It got to the point that she was noticeably stiff for several days after a hike. I put her on Connectin and within a week she had NO stiffness. At one point I tried taking her off the Connectin (to see if it really does work). After about 1 week she was stiff (going up stairs, on and off furniture, etc). I put her back on them and again only took 1 week for her to be her agile self again. She is small at 53 lbs. and I give her one tab every morning. She runs with me too and during some of my pre-race training while ramping up the speed/distance of our runs I have doubled her dose to 1 tab 2x/day. I did a lot of pricing and comparing products before settling on this one. It is important to me to give my K9 Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and Hyaluronic Acid. This is one of the ONLY products that has all 3 and it has the most of all 3 of all the products I viewed. Additionally, it is VERY reasonable priced when compared to other products with similar amounts of ingrediants. Particularly the Hylauronic Acid, this seems to be an expensive supplement.I LOVE this product and HIGHLY recommend it!!!** Update: 2 years later my dog is now 9 1/2 yrs old and has been on Connectin for 4 years, and I couldn't be happier! Occasionally she gets a little sore after a long off-leash hike, but the soreness disappears within 24 hours, and that's on her normal dose of 1 pill daily. If I double her dose for a few days I can literally do anything with her experiencing no visible soreness. I couldn't be happier with this product. Also, when I spoke with my vet about pup's arthritis and if I should consider doing something else (different supplement or an injectable like Adequan), the vet said dog looked great and continue using the Connectin!***Update: My wonderful golden is now 12!!! We've moved to Colorado and actually lead the most active life yet! Hiking up and down mountains. Her arthritis has progressed over the years and her hips are weak. But with the Connectin she rarely gets stiff. I do double her dose when we go camping and are hiking multiple days in a row. The real update here is I go to a new vet. She was skeptical of the Connectin and had me put my put pup on Glycoflex (a highly rated supplement) combined with Myristin. For 3 months I had my dog on all three supplements. Then I took her off the Connectin all together but kept her on the higher recommended dose of the other two. Well... within two weeks my pup was getting very sore, loosing her range of motion and having a hard time with stairs and getting on the furniture. So of course I put her back onto the Connectin. And as I expected, within a couple of weeks she regained her range of motion and lost all of her soreness. Took her off the Glycoflex and Myristin!I can't say enough how much I love and appreciate what this supplement does for my dog. I am convinced her high activity level is what's keeping her so "young" and healthy at 12 years of age! Without this supplement she would be essentially home-bound and not able to lead the wonderful lifestyle we both love so very much.

I give my cat this supplement as a preventative measure and despite all of her acrobatics and daredevil leaps, her joints seem as strong and limber as the day she came home.The five stars for flavor is based on the fact she horks it down without issue. I have - and will - not try this powder.

My vet recommended I get these and I'm so glad I did. My dog has been able to get up more easily and jump since she started taking them. I have found that the taste is a little strong, so I mash them up with water and mix it with her food and she loves it that way. She's a 55 pound husky mix who will be 13 years old this year and she's acting like a puppy again.

I have a ten year old poodle/shit zu mix who has hip issues. I'd asked the owner of a local groomer if she could recommend anything and she told me about this. It's made a HUGE difference in my dog. Her energy level is up and most important, her hips are so much better. This isn't cheap but it lasts a decent amount of time. I will never stop using this. My senior girl acts like a puppy again and she doesn't look like she's hurting like she had been before.

I have been a loyal Connectin user for over 7 years now. I was turned onto it by a sales person in a local pet/feed store, for hip issues with my Anatolian mix who had an FHO on his hip before he was adopted. At the time he was 1 1/2 years old and when I adopted him he was not bearing weight on his hip and was hoping around on three legs. The sales person explained she had used it on her dogs after I explained I was looking for a joint supplement for my dog. She said two weeks to the day after starting Connectin her dog was a different dog. So I decided to try it given it was an all natural product and a local Colorado product. The beginning dose for my dog was 1 scoop a day for two weeks, I kid you not two weeks to the day of starting Connectin, my dog started walking on all fours and bearing weight on his hip. I have had him on it ever since and he is now 9 years old. His maintenance dose is a 1/2 scoop a day. I couldnt be happier with this product and will tell anyone about it as we have our four dogs on it. One is a 9 year old bully breed with arthritis in her hip, when she is not in Connectin she favors that hip and often will hop on three legs. When she is on Connectin she will bear weight on her hip. Another positive to this product, which might not be well known, is the fact that it can help irritated bladders. Our 2 year old bully breed has a sensitive bladder and after we adopted her she was having accidents in the house. My vet recommended giving her glucosamine as that can help and irritated bladder. So we put her on Connectin and we haven't had any issues since.In the past I have used Glucoflex with a previous Chow and the results were minimal for her arthtitis. I would recommend this product for anyone who is wondering about if it might help or not, it WILL! Well worth the money and far superior to a lot of the products out there.

We had never given any supplements to our dog Louie before. I wasn’t sure if they’d make a difference or not but he’s almost 7 and I figured it couldn’t hurt!Within days of starting supplements we noticed how much more pep our dog had. We weren’t sure if we were just imagining it until we ran out of pills. By day 2 of no supplements he we thought he was sick. He was much more lethargic. I was just about to take him to the vet when our new bottle arrived. By the next day he was good as new and acting like a puppy again. Thank you for making such a great product!

Very good stuff, in my opinion. My fussy dog likes the treats, and they seem to help a bit.
