The best portable grinder around
Cons:- the folding mechanism has a little play due to moving parts, I would have liked to see tighter tolerances here- the stepped adjustment system and the handle both used enclosed spring mechanisms, there are 2 ball plunger springs in the dial for the step adjustment, and the crank handle has a spring inside as well. These are points of potential failure, and would be difficult to repair if they ever failed. The handle is arguably more justifiable. Timemore's other products use ball plungers for attaching the grind catch to the grinder itself, and I'm not quite sure what the obsession is- the threads for the grind catch (which screws on) are small/delicate, use caution when putting it on. Grind can also gets in the threads, so this requires at least a wipe very often. The threads themselves don't feel smooth because it's bare aluminum on aluminum. I would have preferred a magnetic catch.- The step sizes are quite large. I'm using this for drip/aeropress, and have a separate grinder for espresso. I think you could use this for espresso, but it wouldn't be ideal, and you will probably only have 1 or 2 positions to work with to dial in your shots. (pressurized portafilter baskets should be just fine)Pros:- Knurling makes it very easy to keep from twisting while grinding- SUPER tiny feeling, and featherlite for what it does- grind quality is very good, though not as good as larger burrs, not really a fault here. Far more consistent than any hario or budget grinder.- grinds faster than I would expect, slightly faster than the small 1zpresso grinder- the top cap fits quite snugly, so if you throw it in a bag, the handle won't just pop off easily- there's a little rubber bumper under the knob so that when you fold it down, it doesn't scratch the body of the grinder, that's a great little detail that shows a lot of thought and care went into the design.- holds around 18-20g of beans in the top and catch, expected closer to 15- fits in an aeropress (with room to spare if you want to throw filters around it too), and if you have the aeropress mini, the handle still folds down while it's in the aeropress! This is VERY convenient for throwing your whole setup in a bag.It just feels great to use, and it's by far the smallest grinder around. A hearty thumbs up.

Wonderful grinder
This is really a high quality little grinder. Very tight tolerances, and thoughtfully designed. It does have smaller capacity, but that’s understandable given the fact that it was designed to be small and portable.I have three timemore grinders, and I am very impressed with all of them.

Love this little grinder
Clever, compact, powerful little grinder that’s perfect for travel. Really like the smooth action of the grinder. It was a little tricky initially to dial in the coarseness/fineness of the grind, but once it’s set, it was super easy to use. Also, it looks sharp and is feels really solid — robust enough to take on the road without fear of breaking.

Perfect combined with AeroPress Go
Fits perfectly inside plunger of the AeroPress Go, AND fits exactly the right amount of beans for a single cup of strong coffee.

Absolutely over built gem of a grinder.
Not much to dislike, this thing is such a pleasure to use. It holds enough beans for a single pour over but not a big mug of coffee. However it’s such a pleasure to use you won’t mind grinding up more beans. Very consistent grind. So cleverly engineered.

Did not work for long
Did not grind more more then a few uses. Gets clogged up and will not grind anymore after 4 cups of coffee.Cleaned and still no grinding. This is with light roasted beans so oil should not be an issue.

Compact, easy to hold, well designed, just a bit small
So, you can really only grind about 20grams of coffee at a time and it isn’t fast. Having said that, it seems to be well built and beautifully designed. Easy to hold, grind coffee and fold up. I am satisfied with the grinder, I do not expect to take it travelling, but it is great in my office and boat.2022.04.14: I decided it is just too small for my purposes and returned it. I ordered a bigger version.

Excellent Portable Hand Grinder - not quite for Espresso but EVERYTHING else!
My Go-to coffee maker is a Flair Pro2 Manual Espresso maker - and have a Flair Royale grinder to match it. Planning on travelling in Asia soon and only taking a Caffiano Kompresso (tried a range of portable 'espresso makers' and weight, work flow to coffee produced, it wins for me) but wanted a smaller, quality grinder to travel with too.The Timemore Nano is a great and little grinder - with a very convenient folding handle mechanism. My preferred bean dosage for the Kompresso is 13-15g - which is perfect for the Nano. Having large-ish hands, it fits very nicely, and the knurling style of the Nano's body makes it easy to grip whilst grinding. The threading on the catch cup is buttery smooth, and once the grinding has finished, its easy to remove and dose the Kompresso. Dialling in the setting is done with the handle attached, remove the catch cup and turn upside down. The grinding action itself doesn't feel to difficult for me - and should be more than possible for most people - maybe i'd prefer a tighter action to save time - but still pretty good with around 100 turns for the 15g.Pefect grind size for the Kompresso is a few clicks above it's smallest possible size (which is probably still a little coarse for the Flair) - but a nice resistence and a rich full body espresso-esque output - which still tastes as good as many coffee shopsVery Satisfied with the Timemore Nano and should be perfect for my purposes - and pour over etc too.Only marked down on the Flavour as it can't grind fine enough for the Flair - but as good as, or better than many similar and bigger grinders in its class.

Very nicely made small grinder
This is a nice small coffee grinder. It will easily grind down to espresso and even to Turkish (although the grind time will go up)This isn’t really an espresso grinder and it doesn’t really have the resolution on the dial to find the sweet spot for espresso but it can be made to work. I bought it as I needed a small grinder suitable for a backpack and for home use. I use it to grind beans for a Wacaco picopresso and can get lovely crema and great coffee from it. It would be better if the adjustment ring had double the number of detents for dialling in the perfect espresso grind. I am an engineer so I’m going to modify the adjustment ring for it.In summary then, a good general purpose grinder that is well made and can be made to work for espresso but, if size isn’t an issue it might be better to go for a pure espresso grinder if that is what you want.

Game changer.
This little grinder was a game changer for my coffee brewing. Only ever had cheap ceramic bur grinders in the past, so decided to spend a bit more and upgrade. The Timemore Nano is such a beautiful bit of workmanship and is a fantastic grinder. I personally have no trouble getting espresso grind out of it right up to a fairly coarse grind. I can get 19gm at a sqeeze out of it so not the biggest grinder but it is a Nano after all. I just grind twice if I need more coffee. Great well made grinder. I love it.
