I needed soft leather that was still sturdy and this worked out great! I always need lots of colors and these did Not Disappoint . Thank you . Will be purchasing more soon.

I ordered the 5lb scrap mixed bag and received a great selection of leather (See pics). I wanted to get a feel for the quality and thickness of the leather before ordering larger pieces.The leather quality was great. I will definitely buy large pieces in the future from this company when I need it. The scrap pack however, was not as great as others on Amazon. I won't order this item again for that purpose. Other packs send more usable pieces with less of the dangling little pieces and belly areas. This was exactly as advertised, scraps with some holes, marks, stains, tape, fold lines etc. Many lovely usable pieces I am excited to use. Many I won't be able to use. Truly a scrap bag.5 stars for quality of the leather from the company, 1 star removed since I won't order a scrap pack from them again. I will order larger pieces in the future instead.

The pieces are big enough to repair a hole in my couch and the colorss are a pretty good match.

Large variety of types and colors of leather. Size also varied but there were a couple of pretty big pieces. There was a piece of two that was obviously had issues with the dying or leather treatment process just from the feel but overall great value.

I really wanted to love this leather. I saw the awesome shades of brown, and thought that I could safely expect something similar to what is shown in the pictures on this listing, but as you can see, the box ended up containing nothing but bellies (the worst cut of leather) with every last bit of usable material cut away. This is beyond trash. This is like eating a burrito you find in a dumpster and then offering to sell the half to your friend. Shady business.Thinking the quality and size of the leather was likely an oversight, I contacted the seller and attached the picture I'm posting here. Their reply was that no, there was no error on their part, and that this is as advertised, despite the pictures in the listing which clearly show usably-sized cuts. Seller said that all was in order; that they've sold on amazon for years, but if my shipment is any indicator, I can't fathom how the listing is at 4 stars.In fact, I'll just go ahead and copy/paste their response to my message (I'd post a screen shot but I dunno if that'd cause this review to be removed/unapproved): "This listing was not meant to have pieces large enough to make a wallet. These are remnants, and trims from our full grain skins. If you wanted a piece big enough to make a wallet we would have suggested you buy our pre-cut leather pieces. Should I send you the listing for the Browns that we offer in pre-cut pieces?". Snarky smarmy squirmy greasy nasty.For reference, the second picture is the sorted pieces of a 6lb box of leather scraps I purchased from another seller (don't wanna name them and be thought of as a shill) at exactly the same price-per-lb that I paid for this new leather. With the leather from the prior seller, I was able to make a few wallets, and 7 coin purse-sized pouches with a lot of leather left over afterwards. The smallest piece from the other seller is easily five times the size of the biggest piece bought from these guys.I gave it 2 stars because it arrived much more quickly than expected.

Excellent amount to get going with leathercraft. Different colors and different types of leather. You can make some small to medium size starter projects to practice. Perfect for the beginner!

I’ve purchased this before and it was fine. This time it had no large pieces and all quite small.

Nice mix and value for the money. Different colors, some have different textures. Very thin leather, comfortable for bracelets, not really suitable for key chains. Good sized pieces, obvious remnants, some are slightly marked but usually only in corners and edges. May look for thicker pieces, but if I need thin pieces will be back for more!
