Quality sound, Quality performance, Easy to install and can be placed anywhere. I used the end tables, my coffee table and then put together to pieces of decorative wood art behind my sofa to make the full spectrum of sound. They work perfectly!!!

I haven't put these in their permanent location yet, but I have tried these on several different types of surfaces. I would have to say that I am definitely pleased with my purchase. Note to future buyers, you will definitely need a small Amp or EQ to help get the sound you want out of these. I purchased the small EQ that was recommended and it works well. For supreme sound, I would recommend running these both off of 1 channel and use a slightly bigger driver on the other driver to add more depth in the quality of sound. You don't need a lot of power to push these so they are perfect for camper installations. Added bonus is that most campers are perfect surfaces to amazing sound projections.

Does its job perfectly. Plug and play but I agree with other, the price is steep but though slightly more affordable than the Logitech adapter.

I've read quite a few reviews on these. I think that some may be expecting too much from this item, and are expecting something magical. I was a bit skeptical that something this inexpensive could actually sound pretty good considering I was using these on a surface completely dislike a speaker cone. I put these in the lower corners of the glass pane in my shower, along with a Lepai amp connected to my cell phone. After tweaking the EQ on my phone, I'm deeply surprised how good it sounds, and the bandwidth I get... including low end extension, down into the mid 30Hz range. If you get too crazy with the volume they'll let you know, but get loud enough to hear clearly over the shower at least. Depending on the substrate they're stuck to, you're gonna have to EQ these to get them flat. They don't break physics for you. But once you do EQ them they're well worth the $25~ paid.

I purchased 2 packs to use with two 2ft x 2ft sheets of polystyrene project board and 2 sheets of honeycombed cardboard (also known as palletboard). The exciters work well and the sound they produced is nothing short of amazing. They are wired in parellel producing a 4 ohm load on my Denon receiver. Volume levels needed to produce audible sound are around 30 on a 1-100 scale and work well up to 60 or so. Anything louder seems to invite clipping as these speakers are rated for only a small 5 watts of power. During setup of the Denon I did not notice that my receiver switch my stereo speakers from small to large. Playing “Take Five” at around 65 clipped one exciter and rendered it useless. Since then I’ve been ginger with my settings and have played them for many hours without issue. I’d highly recommend these exciters for small areas or low volume applications.

If these are place on something thin and hard, like tempered glass, they sound great! Careful on placement, it's possible to get some resonance in your medium that won't sound great in the audible range so test placement might help (generally asymmetric placement too) I stuck them on some thin tempered glass about 1/16" thick and they are powered with a little class a amplifier and they place wonderful music in higher frequencies like classical violin, gypsy jazz, Etc. Since the medium I choose to stick to is hard, not much of a chance for bass and lower notes so some music sounds horrible. Best to pick your medium off of the type of music. Just remember that this item has to be able to push a compression wave into the medium and if it is soft, it will absorb the wave versus propagate it. I would buy these again if I needed more tactile transducers. They also make tactile transducers purely for bass.

These tiny things sound really cool in small rooms, loud enough, I actually isolate myself from reality for some hours :D One thing that the other reviews said is true, female voices sound really crisp if too loud almost painful. If you are going extra cheap with honeycomb card board, you can use 2 layers of it, that ease the trebles and gives a deeper or profound sound (sound stage is the term?) well and a little equalization. My new speakers look awful but sound amazing. around 35$ including the exciters, cable from amazon and the cardboard. To be completely honest, the exciter are connected to a cyber acoustics 2.1 thing, and the sub woofer adds the needed bass. Very recommended.

I was looking for rear speakers for my motorcycle, a 2003 BMW R1200CLC, when I came across the Dayton Sound Exciters. Since the price was right, and REALLY didn't want to cut holes in the top case of the bike, I figured I'd try these... if they didn't work, well, I'm only out 3 cups of Starbucks coffee! Hooked them up last night, and although they are not as powerful as my front speakers, they are plenty loud for the passenger when I set the fader to have more volume in the back, (so my wife is now happy). (Note: part of the volume thing could be my fault - instead of using BMW cable ends, which I didn't have, I used Radio Shack butt connectors in the wire harness...) Anyway - frequency response thru the fiberglass/ABS plastic top case is very good, and I recommend them.

Used these for a virtual pinball cabinet. Wow! They are fantastic as you can “feel” the ball rolling and dropping on the table and you can feel the flippers moving and the bumpers activating. Can’t recommend them enough for this kind of purpose.

Habe einfach eine Schrankrückwand geteilt und die beiden an der Rückseite geklebt. Hatte nicht viel erwartet....... Das Ergebnis: MIST die Dinger klingen besser als meine 3 Wege Boxen...... das war sehr unerwartet. Bin begeistert und werde weiter experimentieren ! Klare KAUFEMPFELUNG !
