Great price, package, and protein with only one, clean ingredient: egg whites!
I love this product. I add to smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, and other mid-afternoon and morning meals to boost my protein. I appreciate the price break I get from buying this size container, and it fits in my cupboards well. It stays fresh for as long as it take me to go through this, and I favorite part about it is that it's just one ingredient: egg whites. I don't care for other powder additives and I think this is perfect for my needs. The protein comes from a reliable source and is high enough for my needs, and I feel it does not taste "too eggy" like others have complained about with other egg white powders. I have no trouble digesting this and enjoy the extra boost!

Highly Palatable Unflavored Protein Powder with No Side Effects
Thank you NOW! For years, I have been trying to find a suitable protein powder. For various reasons, I have been fairly picky over the years, and had given up on supplementing my diet with protein powders. I have adverse reactions to whey protein powders, which give me body aches and a general feeling of uneasiness. I don't have the same reaction with protein bars, etc. but the issue persisted with different whey protein powders. I also avoid sugar and most sugar substitutes. Years passed and different protein powders have collected in my kitchen: pea protein, rice protein, etc. These other types were extremely unpalatable and grainy.I am pregnant now, and in recent weeks, have become concerned about my low protein consumption. At the same time, the doctor suggested reducing my carb intake. I began to really dislike handling meat, especially when it is raw. And I didn't like the idea of consuming so much meat fat and meat generally. And then I read that about protein powders accumulating toxins during their industrial processing, which can be particularly harmful to fetuses. Fortunately, I read a blog that suggested that this product might be cleaner than the other protein powders, so I ordered it. I was worried that I would have yet another supplement collecting dust, and just wanted to sample the product. But NOW had a 38% of special the day that I ordered the 1.2 lb container! Some of the other reviews suggested that the powder did not blend well in smoothies, and had a bad taste. To the contrary, I was super excited when my smoothie blended perfectly with a regular stick blender. And the egg taste was mild, if not imperceptible. For now, I am blending a scoop or so of the powder with frozen berries, cucumber (skinless if using an English cucumber), blend of whatever nuts I feel up to that day (peanut butter, almond butter, cashew, sunflower seeds), yogurt (if I feel up to it), cocoa powder, ... Now that I can start having smoothies, I might start adding some super food ingredients like hemp/chia seeds, etc., greens powders (post-pregnancy), stevia/monk fruit. For now, I am enjoying my simple sugar free but protein packed smoothies. Super happy and super relieved that I can include more protein in my diet and have delicious smoothies on a regular basis. Fingers crossed that this powder is as clean as my hope and expectations! Going to super size to the 5 lb containers. Thank you NOW!

Tastes like cake. 🍰
Just received this product thirty minutes ago and tried my first serving of it. Having never used this before, I cannot compare of a difference in taste as other reviewers have noted with the addition of sunflower lecithin. I also will not be using this in baking so I am not concerned with its frothing ability. (Because of the lower rated reviews, maybe the manufacturer should think about making a version, minus the lecithin, just for baking purposes.) I use chocolate almond milk as my liquid for mixing, (10oz), and will say I really enjoyed the flavor. Right off I noticed a little saltiness, which I loved. I did not get an eggy taste, but rather the feeling I had licked the bowl after making a chocolate cake. So far there is no heaviness or uneasy feeling in my stomach that sometimes happens when I drink certain whey proteins. With whey I also had to add essential amino acids to my daily intake for better protein absorption. Eggs naturally containing these, that is one less supplement I have to purchase. (Going from $1.68 a serving to $1.03 a serving with egg protein.) My reason for giving four stars instead of five is that this being my very first time using this I have no results as far as benefits. The whey protein I was taking was measured at twenty-five grams while this is at fifteen. This is just me thinking, but I feel I'll be getting more of this protein because of the essential amino acids naturally being in the eggs. Again, just my thoughts. Not sure if there's medical proof of that. Going on this, my first experience with egg protein, I will say that I am definitely changing over from whey. I'll be staying with this brand, only changing if I feel the benefits aren't what I expected.

Great in shakes made with flavored whey protein!
I bought this (and opened it) in Feb. 2024 (it has an expiration date of 11/2025). Used it for a while in shakes with flavored whey protein and liked it! Then, I fell into some awful eating habits and stopped using it. Now, I am finally getting back into consuming more protein and I am happy the NOW powdered egg white is still fresh. No change whatsoever in quality.I have used it in flavored protein shakes only. I do not taste it all. I like how it voluminizes the shakes. I don't know what other uses there are for it, but it doesn't matter. I will certainly use it up!

Absolutely disgusting
By far the absolute worst tasting protein powder I have ever tried to stomach. It's inedible. I tried it twice, mixed in with very flavorful ingredients and the awful taste just cuts through any of the good tastes and makes everything disgusting.
