Quick and simple setup
This basket is so easy to assemble and store compared to other portable baskets. It's 2 levers and a thumb screw. Assembles in seconds. It's also lightweight enough to carry over one shoulder, but still feels sturdy. As for materials, it's high quality painted metal tube frame with cloth mesh beneath the baskets and over the top. The discs to not fall into the mesh, so you don't have to worry about tear. The only complaints are: 1) the little plastoc foot covers are not affixed. 2 of them fell off and got lost in a field somewhere. No big deal, but the metal feet might scratch sensitive surfaces. 2) spit outs. The bottom basket is smaller than standard baskets, and the chains are shaped in a way that certain hits in the pocket fall to the basket and spit out. It just means that you need to be more accurate to make them. But if you're looking for something that catches like a disc catcher, you might want to just get a full blown basket.

High quality, portable and sturdy. Great for overcoming the isolation blues!
OK...so admittedly I have zero experience with other portable disc golf baskets. I have been playing disc golf for about a year, so I am new to the sport. We are full time RVers, and I had toyed with the idea of getting a portable basket for those times when I wasn't near a course. Well, this lockdown made me go for it. And I am glad I did.The basket is very well made, and folds up into a nicely manageable size and weight, with a canvas carrying bag included. It is easy to setup and take down, and is nice and sturdy when throwing at it. I have not had any problems with it catching discs. The canvas sided bottom does cause the discs to bounce and deflect a bit differently than they would on the metal baskets on a course, but not so much that it matters or changes play. And that is an ok trade off, considering what the weight and bulk of a metal basket would be.I should also state that I do tend to throw Dynamic Disc, and also have a DD pack...so choosing this brand was largely based on that brand loyalty.I recommend this basket to anyone who needs one that is portable. It has already improved my putting game. I am very happy with this purchase.

I'm still not a fan of the cross-linked chains, but this is by far my fav basket
Overall I love this basket for practice putting. I previously had a Remix deluxe basket (essentially a rebadged mvp/axiom basket) and it has served me very well in the backyard for about 2 years now. However, I wanted an indoor basket that I could keep in the garage for practice putting in Ohio winters and the Scout has fit the bill perfectly.Pros:-Easy to set up and as sturdy as a regular non-collapsible basket-When I need to make room in the garage, I just need to pop 2 levers and everything folds up nice an compact for storage; roughly the width of a large lawn chair-This goes hand in hand with portability, but the basket is lightweight enough that it can be transported easily without being so light that it tips overCons-I personally don't like cross-linked chains, but ymmv-I haven't taken it outside the garage, so I can't comment on how well the chains withstand rust

Sweeeeeet
A little heavy, but not bad once on your shoulder. What an easy set up and tear down though. Sturdy and tight, nice chains, very happy with this purchase!!!

Very nice basket! Better work on your aim..
This is a great practice basket! Very portable and easy to put together. The only thing “bad” I have to say is that the chains are very sturdy and have a tendency to spit out non- centered putts but even more reason to practice! For an even harder challenge, you can detach the outer chains to make a bullseye basket.

Awesome practice tool
I hesitated on this for a while because of the price, but I’m glad I finally bought it. Really easy to put up and take down, holds up nicely and doesn’t sway in the wind, and has improved the accuracy of my putting in only a month. One criticism: the bag’s strap is narrow and cuts into your shoulder, and even though this basket isn’t super heavy, if you’re carrying it, say, across the parking lot to get to the big field at the park, your shoulder is gonna feel it. I bought a Velcro bag strap pad for about $10 that wraps around the bag’s strap, and that has made a huge difference.Don’t let the strap keep you from buying this, though; it’s a great portable practice basket.

Great Product -Well Thought Out
Newbies here. Husband and I have been playing for about 6 weeks. This basket is not too heavy, opens and closes quickly and with little effort. It’s very sturdy! The chains are not too heavy and you still get that iconic disc golf clank that I love to hear. I don’t mind the canvas top and basket because it’s “softer on the discs”.The only feedback for improvement is the carrying case. The carry strap is too thin and cuts into my skin. Given the weight, a thicker and padded strap would make this 5+ rating.I’ve only had this about 3 weeks. So far no issues. I will update as needed.

Good chains
Even though the chains are lighter, they still grab like a normal basket because of the weave.
