This thermostat fits well and works well per 1/2 test that I ran. No more intermittent power and display resets. You will need to change terminal connectors.

Easy install, I used this part to replace a different spec in an overheat safety circuit - works perfectly. Additionally this part will reset itself after it cools down (I tested this feature) whereas the part I was replacing was "one and done."Cheap - but I don't know what I am going to do with the other 4! (junk drawer I guess...). Would be nice to be able to buy just one.

Bought these to repair a small 12v tire air pump. First one out of the package did not work, but the next one worked fine, and the remaining ones do as well (tested them with a meter and heat source). Price is reasonable enough that I am not concerned about the single defective unit. Just posting this in case it helps someone else in the future.

Replaced this thermal control switch on a GE Microwave. This DIY needed some new tools (screwdriver with hex bits) to remove the microwave casing. The old thermal switch was melted (not sure why) and it was a bit tricky to disconnect it from the wiring.This thermal control switch (KSD301) was a close match as the previous one (KSD201) was old and too expensive to get on Amazon. The voltage, current ratings, switching temperature and the default state (closed) specified in the spec sheet inside the microwave casing were the same between the two parts.Replaced the old one with this new switch and the microwave was back working.Added advantage of this new switch is that it resets back to the original state (closed) once the temperature goes back to normal. Didn't test this feature but some other reviewers did.A 2 pack with even less cost would have been more ideal. Now I have 4 idle switches in my electronics drawer. I just hope that I will remember that when this kind of failure occurs way in the future.

Bought to replace a failed KSD301 250V 10A 90C temperature switch in a 12V portable tire pump. Replacement switch has a loose fitting mounting flange attached which I easily removed with a couple of nips of my dikes (wire cutters). Drilled out the hole in the tab to accommodate a screw used in the original tire pump installation. Not sure how much of a difference the higher temperature rating will make, but the repaired pump now works fine and the repair saved me $80 and a trip to the store! Love it!

They seem to be all over a place on temperature cut off and cut on but do work. But if you're looking for something with precise control I would not recommend these
