Braun Silk Epil 5/5185 Epilator

This is my first epilator and I'm absolutely in love with it. I researched a lot about this product online before I bought this product, and it was all worth the effort. It's a perfect product for beginners, so easy to use.I read a lot of reviews where people had written that the process of epilating is extremely painful, but I found it to be less painful than waxing. Maybe it was because of the massage rollers attached to the epilator.It's an excellent product that comes with a small pouch that can used for travelling. A great feature is the inbuilt light which makes it very easy to remove all the hair. And the best part is that you don't need to prep urself up before epilating and no mess post it.Only drawback would be that it doesn't come with an inbuilt battery, has to plugged in all the time for usage. But then the cord is long enough so it doesn't force you to sit right next to the plug point.I don't think I'll have to take the pain of going to the parlour for waxing ever again.It's a must buy. 👍

Its an review by a first time user.Never used an epilator before and this product is just amazing.. Used it within few hours of receiving the product.. and Waited a few days to write a review to just be sure that the hair were pulled out of the roots (as suggested) or just trimmed.. Well.. they well all pulled out.. and trust me.. there a HUGE FUSS out there that epilators give a hell lot of a pain.. NO THEY DONT.It's a solid product and looks much better in real life than in the photograph (it's not as delicate or flimsy as it looks in the picture).The only issue I had was that the cord attachment connection with the epilator was loose; it fit but came out easily. I'm sure that this is the only drawback with this model from Braun and its a general problem. This issue is with the design of the cord and the socket of the Braun Epilator. The cord refuses to stay attached and keeps falling out... In other words, you may have to use one hand to ensure that the cord is attached to the socket while the other is epilating or fix some piece of paper to the point of attachment to make it tight temporarily.All in all an excellent and classy product which worth every penny you pay for this. I paid only Rs3281.40...:)

I ordered this product after a month of research n finally decided to take this. First of all,Amazon was the only one which provided it within 4k. The product Was delivered within 3days. Now coming to the epilator,Pros1.well its packaging is quite good. It has all the items as described.2.The epilator is quite handy n looks too good.3. The heads provided are easy to fix n remove.4. The cord is quite long.5. The ice pack is really very helpful for first time users.6. Epilation is not that painful , it feels like fast ant pricks. But of course it may depend on person n skin type.7. The light is really very helpful in seeing the tiny hairs.8. The shaver n trimmer head is too good for use.9. Can be cleaned easilyCons1. The speed switch is little tricky..I mean it cannot be easily switched.2.there is no sensitive cap with this model.Overall a very good product...

Best product..I have been using it for quite a while...Its good...Its fast and easy and does not harm your skin like other epilators... I love this product and Its good for emergency..It is exactly like waxing..it removes hair from the root...the only difference is it does not remove dead skin..but you can use other products for that ...People say its painful..but if you can take pain of waxing...believe me u can bare its pain..Its definitely less painful than the hot wax you put on u skin for waxing..Also there is myth that your growth will increase or you will get thick hair or something like that..But how come thats possible if its removing hair from roots??..Same like waxing...SO GO FOR IT !!! DONT THINK TOO MUCH!! ITS DEFINATELY WORTH MONEY!!

Got this epilator after a lot of research and it did not disappoint me. It is working good and does what it claims. At first it will pain a bit but when you get used to it, it's not going to pain much. But to get a result that waxing give with an epilator you must get the knack of it first and it takes a couple of passing on the same skin area to get a completely hairless skin. But I am not sure how many hairs are coming out from roots and how many are cutting off from surface.That i'll know after regrowth. I've also used on my chin area and it was ok. Overall I am satisfied with the product. If you are new to epilation then this one is great to start with.

I have used it for two years now.Pros: Always at your disposal for the least to most of times needed, gets out the smallest of hair, easy to use, so far not a single technical problem, easy to travel with on any means of transport, easy to get used to.Cons: Noisy, not wireless, not suitable for any sensitive area, it leaves bumps sometimes, painful, need to move over a single area multiple times.The cons don’t bother you if you consider how convenient this becomes in any situation.I would definitely recommend

I purchased this product 7 months ago it is covered within the warantee period of two years but somehow it is not working properly but when i consulted to the service centre of Ahmedabad they told me i have to spend money for getting it repair as i have purchased from online though it is covered within warantee period and reason of not giving any after sales services is that they are not getting any money from online so please do not blindly believe in this 2 year warantee product , quality is also not satisfactory so kindly do take a note before purchasing this product.

J'en avais marre des modèles de cette marque et de Panasonic que j'ai eu, les meilleures marques soit disant dans les test conso mais qui ne fonctionnent que sur batterie . Ils ne tiennent réellement que la moitié de l'autonomie marquée avec en plus une puissance modeste et comme si tout le monde s'épilait sous la douche !!! . Je recherchait - et ça devient dur - le meilleur modèle possible avec câble, comme j'avais à une époque . Ouf ! Il existe mais pourvu qu'ils continuent à le fabriquer encore longtemps ... Le modernisme n'a pas que du bon.

Premetto che non ho mai usato un silk epil in vita mia ma ero stanca di usare il rasoio. Certo la depilazione con il rasoio è indolore e abbastanza veloce ma tempo 3/4 giorni e dovevo ripetere l'operazione. Ho deciso così di avvicinarmi ai silk epil. Dopo essermi documentata su internet ho stilato una lista con le caratteristiche per un buon silk epil (spero possa esservi d'aiuto).-Silk epil con o senza filo alimentatore?A lungo andare, la differenza tra i due è notevole perché un silk epil a filo (cioè alimentato a corrente) avrà sempre la stessa velocità e non si fermerà di punto in bianco perché scarico. Certo bisogna stare vicini alla presa di corrente ma dubito che una donna si depili che so, in cucina!-Numero di pinzette.Il numero di pinzette è un altro fattore importante perché più pinzette ha il silk epil, più epila velocemente e con minor dolore.-Wet&DryVolete ottimizzare il tempo dell'epilazione? Quello che fa per voi è un epilatore che da la possibilità di epilarci tranquillamente sotto la doccia. Ma attenzione i Wet&Dry son senza filo (ovviamente) quindi dovete decidere quale caratteristica scegliere.-Testina FlessibileLa testina flessibile garantisce una maggiore dolcezza sulla pelle perché segue le linee del nostro corpo e lo strappo del pelo diventa semplice e più veloce.Il silk epil che ho preso è della Braun, Silk Epil 5 young beauty bonus edition.Nella scatola troviamo l'epilatore, la spazzola per la pulizia del viso compresa di testina e batterie, il guanto refrigerante, la mascherina con i rulli massaggianti, il cavo alimentatore, un pratico pennello per la pulizia e un comodo sacchettino di tessuto dove riporre l'epilatore.Partiamo dall'epilatore.L'epilatore non ne troppo grande e ne pesante, è molto maneggevole. E' dotato di due velocità e per aiutarci nell'epilazione, sul corpo dell'epilatore ce una piccola luce che funge da torcia (che trovo molto utile). Il Braun 5 ha 40 pinzette, per me son buone. Una volta finito, la pulizia dell'oggetto è semplicissima. Ci sono due modi, il primo è quello di togliere il cappuccio e spazzolarlo. Pulire accuratamente le pinzette con il pennellino (meglio se intinto nell'alcool). Il secondo invece, bisogna tenere l'epilatore con al testina epilatrice sotto l'acqua corrente. Poi rimuovere la testina, agitare la testa epilatrice e asciugare bene le parti prima di ricomporlo.La spazzola per il viso.La spazzola per il viso è alimentato a batterie. Nel corpo troviamo un tasto di accensione/spegnimento e un altro tasto per selezionare la velocità. Il vano batteria e in alto la testina della spazzola (sostituibile). Allora la spazzola per il viso funziona come una sorta di scrub. Grazie al massaggio di 60000 micro setole pulisce la pelle in profondità, rimuove tracce di trucco e unto sulla pelle. Per avere sempre buoni risultati bisogna sostituire la testina ogni 2/3 mesi.Guanto refrigeranteIl guanto refrigerante serve e non serve. Inizialmente lo usavo spessissimo, ora meno. Il guanto lo si usa (principalmente) per le prime epilazioni in caso di pelle sensibile per evitare rossori dopo l'epilazione. Bisogna mettere il sacchetto con il gel nel congelatore, dopo 2h toglierlo e metterlo nel guanto. Prima di epilarsi, appoggiare il guanto sulla pelle e poi procedere con l'epilazione.Un consiglio, dopo l'epilazione mettete della buona crema idratante..io trovo un enorme sollievo!!Non mi sono affatto pentita dell'acquisto, per le mie esigenze è un prodotto davvero valido. Qualità prezzo davvero buona! Finalmente ho messo da parte il rasoio. Con il silk epil depilarsi è più veloce e la ricrescita del pelo è molto più lenta. Io lo uso ogni 10/15 giorni!
