Also, they are installed behind the wall so they aren't going to catch on anything and don't need to be flush. **Q: I used a 1/2" drill bit to drill my holes in 3/4" plywood. Will these T nuts work for it.** A: Yeah 7/16" to 1/2" works for a hole size. **Q: what is the length of the threaded part?** A: 7/16"... if your question is intended to determine minimum plywood thickness, I would strongly suggest 3/4". **Q: Can you recommend bolts that fit in these t-nuts?** A: Hi! We used them for our climbing wall. They hold my 6'4 husband without an issue. I would recommend installing the climbing hold with handheld tools. The only T-nut that came lose was the one my brother-in-law tried to install with the power drill. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 500+ used and still holding strong! *by R***L on June 21, 2020* I’ve seen a few reviews about the thread being wrong. I’ve bought this exact brand twice (2 different home climbing wall builds)...never had one bad thread out of 500 tnuts. I suspect people are cross threading or using metric threaded bolts. Start threading with your fingers, not an impact driver.These work great for the price, but if you plan on using them outdoors you’ll need to protect them from the weather. They will eventually rust.
