Jewel of the Kalderash
What a lovely story. Loved the well written characters and the adventures they got to. The book is well written - no grammatical issues that would try me crazy either. I seriously could not put it down. I read it on my treadmill and in bed reading late into the night until 2-3 AM because I did not want to miss what would happen next. This is the third book and I purchased them one after the other. Would love to see a future series with the characters a few years down the road to see where their stories took them.

A Happy Ending
This was energetic and full of action. I enjoyed all the twist and turns this book gave. There is so much I would like to say but I don't want to give anything away. If you have read the other two books, you will not be disappointed with this one. The story continues for Petra, Neel, Astro, & Tomik. They make new friends and lose others. Neel finds out who he really is and Rodolfo gets what he deserves. Petra finds what she is searching for but at a great cost...happy reading

Great series for middle grades and up
I enjoyed all three books in this series. I thought the plot was original and would appeal to fans of fantasy, magic, and even a little steam punk. I felt like it was a wee bit Philip Pullman-ish, in a good way. Even though the books seem targeted to middle grades, I am 41 and enjoyed the series, and put it on my high school classroom shelf when I finished. You're never too old for a good story.

and truly enjoyed them. This year my husband began reading them ...
I read the trilogy several years back, and truly enjoyed them. This year my husband began reading them with my daughter. They quickly read through all three and would talk about what they read the night before while we ate breakfast in the morning. My 7 year old is now working on the screenplay if any executive producers are interested!

Great book and series
I really enjoyed this book (and series) It had all the great elements of a good story, a pinch of romance, a pitfall, a great climax and turning point, some conflict between characters, and some exciting action. I enjoyed the characters thoughts and personalities. And I'm the reader and I shared the emotions and hearty laughs and yes cries, I would recommend this to anyone who likesfantasy with some action. Great read.

Enough already
Isn't it about time that authors began to take Roma seriously? There are some 12 million in the world, about one million in the USA, all real people. Not magic, no kings and queens, quite real people. But evidently (like Native Americans) Roma are a people whose identity is fair game for its easy manipulation by writers of fantasy. Substitute the name of a different minority from "Roma" throughout the book, and see how it sounds. Roma are the brunt of Europe's most serious human rights violations, according to both the UN and the EU. But if Roma cannot be taken seriously as a people, as long as Romani identity is controlled by the media, those problems never will be. The history presented in the book is utter nonsense. There are not four "tribes" and a non-Romani person is not a gadje, which (like "Roma") is only a plural word. I could go on. Dr. Rutkoski is an assistant professor in the English department at Brooklyn College. As an educator, she should know better.

Beautiful
I love this book! Equal parts touching and thrilling, I read this in one sitting! Petra is a relatable and truly strong character:)

Incredible
Very few people I know have ever heard of this series I absolutely love it though and just wish someone was there I could talk to about it. Read the whole book in a day impossible to put down.

Great trilogy very well written and exciting
All three books are brilliant. Recommend them for age 10+ and adults who like well written fantasy fiction.
