SPARK Cool Cats Coloring Book (Dover Animal Coloring Books)

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is a fun to color book of 30 very “cool” looking cat designs by Noelle Dahlen. Unlike the cover art, most of the cat bodies are not covered in stars or flowers or anything else. You could add those, if you wish. There is one design that shows a lot of cats with designs that could be inspiration for adding your own to other ones.Dover is marketing their new Spark line of coloring books for older children; however, I find that the designs are also fun for the adult coloring book enthusiast. The designs are complicated enough for me to enjoy but to do so without straining my eyes or having to use super sharp pencils to reach into the nooks and crannies of the artwork. It would also be a perfect book for anyone who has some issues with fine detail either from eyesight or dexterity.There are 30 designs in this coloring book. The new Spark books are very similar to the Dover Creative Haven line of coloring books. The designs are printed on a bright white page that is a nice weight. The designs are printed on one side of the page only and the edges of each page have good perforations which make it easy to remove from the book.All of my gel pens and markers bled through these pages at the same rate as my Creative Haven books. I use a couple of sheets of heavyweight paper or a sheet of freezer paper under the page I am working on to keep ink from ruining the rest of the book.I have been coloring adult color books as a way to relieve the stress of the day. The new Spark line of coloring books is easy on the eyes and yet provides a lot of fun and relaxation at the end of the day.

We purchased this coloring book so that we can hand out coloring pages at our cat adoption events. The kids love them!The pictures are designed to be super cute and easy for even younger children to color. The pictures even have seasonal styles and some holidays making them perfect to rotate throughout the year.Best is that they have perforated edges making them easy to remove from the book to copy and to distribute with out tearing the pages up and making a big mess.

I was looking for a basic coloring book with cats for my niece. This book is packed with pretty pictures of simple, but unique and interesting designs. The pictures are neither too busy nor too abstract for a very young artist and are still cute and interesting enough for a teen or adult artist.

These coloring books are such an improvement! My girls love the different designs. The pages are crisp. The designs aren't too elaborate for a 5 year old and 7 year old.

An awesome cat coloring book! I was looking for one that was easy but wasn't too simple. Nice variety of pictures, and some easier, some more detailed. Purrfect!

Love this coloring book! The paper is heavier weight so no bleed thru when using markers. The cats are super adorable too! Cat lovers will love this!

This book given to a 6 yr old little girl that loves it. The pics are adorable, nice paper for Colouring. Many different pictures I would recommend.

Nice pictures. Good size for young kids. My 10 yr old daughter loves coloring it with sharpies. But the markers go thru the pages. So you have to remove the pages and put them on cardboard or xtra paper if you want to use sharpies. The pages come out easily and are perforated.

Really cute artwork and the paper is good.
