I noticed that individual baits weren't wrapped or protected from drying out in any way. I'm wondering how they are preserved and package said replace used baited every 6 months. I had ants moving in looking for a warm place to live for the winter. I noticed most on my kitchen window sill so I placed one on each side. For about two days I had ants swarming all over my window sill. I noticed some seemed to be going back and forth to nest and others staying in the same spot. On the 3rd full day I looked at where I placed the baits, ants were completely gone. Even the ones that were noticed not moving were gone. It's been a week since I've seen the last ones. Only time will tell how well the two unused baits will be the next time I need something.
