Brilliant

When I took my first tentative steps into daily-ish wash n' go styling for my *deep breath* medium density, medium/low porosity, kinky/type 4 hair (:D), I bought this gel and the Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey Coil Sculpting Custard to compare against each other (which I'm just realizing might not have been a totally fair test, lol). Both were quite lovely, but this one just edged the Mielle out in the amount of coil definition. Plus it was $5 cheaper, haha. It also leaves my hair pretty dang soft (but listen, if you want hold you may get a little crunch, let's not be crazy out here), it doesn't flake, and it doesn't give me wild build up on the days when I'm too lazy to co-wash (I try to co-wash every other day or so a la Anthony Dickey, but come on, sometimes I just want a 10 minute shower, not a 45 minute one). My hair seems to love this product, and it's relatively inexpensive as far as natural hair products go, so I'll be sticking with it!
