I had to get these as a replacement as the HD820's I bought had the XLR balanced cable yoinked, I almost had a heart attack seeing the LOWEST priced replacement cable from a third party were these. As the title states I was skeptical, but then I swapped out the cables, and my god, this cable really livens up your music, it's hard to explain it but I'm sold on expensive third-party cables being cable of giving you better sound.

Feels great! Very nice cable. Not too thick or cumbersome.

The connector is black, not silver like in the picture and is made in China. I didn't expect that from Sennheiser.

Sounds great with the Zen DAC

This is really good for the price, I didn't know it doesn't come with a female connector, so I had to buy one. Nevertheless it's better than overpaying for them, and the sound is still great on my HD800s.

This cable provides a secure connection between the HD 800 S and a 3.5 mm jack, unlike the crufty 8mm-to-3.5mm adapters on the market. The unbalanced cabling seems to enhance the sound in subtle ways. Highly recommended.

Very impressive, much much better than I had anticipated. Totally worth it for the money, these could be priced 2-3x as much and I would still buy them.
