Best Panasonic Model For Me
I've been using Panasonic phones for as long as I can remember. In the beginning I was always really happy with them, but over time they became a disappointment. It's nice to see things back on track with this model. I love it. The display window is so easy to read, I don't have to use the magnifying glasses anymore. I'm especially impressed with how much easier it is to hear the voice on the other end. It's sharp and clear. I hope this one lasts a long time, because it's the best one I've owned in awhile. I'd highly recommend this model. The white/grey colour is also very attractive. I was afraid it would look cheap, but a neighbour saw it and cooed over it.

Talking Caller ID should NOT be at the cost of horrid sound quality
microphone sounds like a Rhino's rear end as it is excreting solid waste. Has some nice-to-haves like a 150 number block for those pesky national do-not-call slip-throughs or an annoying ex who just doesn't get the message. Talking caller ID is somewhat improved versus Panasonic's previous models circa 2012. However, no matter the improvements, the microphone is HORRID! It's almost like panasonic threw noise cancellation out the window! Panasonic's other non-talking CID cordless phones sound leagues better than this. I have a disabled mother who wants the talking CID feature over anything else. Too bad she doesn't get to listen to someone on the other end from her handsets... I'd avoid this particular line of Panasonic phones, or possibly, other cordless handsets with this particular feature.

Functionable, but of questionable manufacturing & design quality
Even though this 2 handset item has a couple of improvements over our previous, 10 year old Panasonic set - like a brighter screen & larger buttons - in too many ways this is a downgrade. The materials of which it is made seem flimsy & cheap, the text on the screens is too low resolution & the way the handsets fit in their cradles is clumsy, requiring attention each time they're replaced. The menus are not at all intuitive, necessitating reference to the manual to add names & record your message. But there is one good additional item...when you input your phonebook on one handset, the other is automatically updated as well. This does save a bit of work. But it's a very small benefit.

Good Quality Phones !
I’ve had Panasonic cordless phones for years and have no issues at all. I got these phones for my Inlaws because their phones were bad. I had recommended the Panasonic phones for them because of their quality, so they had me pick out a set for them. Very happy so far.
