Great special effects
Makes my aliens more alien.

Good effect, but difficult to use.
This paint works as expected and has a unique color shifting (iridescent) effect. However the paint is difficult to apply by brush, and will require many, many coats in order to achieve the expected effect. In addition it's almost necessary to have a gloss-black undercoat for the effect to have a maximized intensity. I have had the greatest success by using these paints in an airbrush, with only using 1 drop of flow improver for 2-3 drops of paint. Even then, it will require many coats to get the best effect, and you will need a surprising amount of paint for a single model. If I was basecoating a 28mm humanoid with a color like red or blue, it would only require 1-2 drops of paint through an airbrush, but to get a solid iridescent effect using these paints you will require closer to 4-6 drops.

The media could not be loaded. Works great for the miniatures. Good shift. I was hesitant because it looked white in the bottle... turns out beautiful.

Wonderful specular highlighting paints
These work equally well, either hand-painted, or through an airbrush. The results are just terrific.

Looks awesome
Hand painted a mini looks awesome this paint company does not disappoint. Just remember with color shift paint use a black primer or a really dark color as a base before you put this over it. Seems durable good value

Works better than others I've tried
I paint fishing lures and have been trying various "color shift" paints for some time. Overall, this Vallejo set has worked better for me than other brands I've tried. I very much appreciate that they include instructions with the set. And again, the instructions are a lot better than those supplied with other brands. The viscosity is consistent in every bottle and they spray well with no thinning. Unlike some others I've tried, airbrush cleanup is easy with this paint. While the 1/2 oz. bottles are small, it takes very little paint to achieve the desired results when used over a black base coat. I'll probably try some of their other sets as well.
