Designed with the beginner in mind our finger guides help you quickly and confidently get up and playing on day one. We started with the violin finger guide back in December 2019 and have now expanded our collection to include finger guides for Viola, Cello, Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar, Ukulele, & Electric Bass. Based upon customer feedback, we improved the colors for better visibility while playing, material/adhesive for easier installation, and ink for greater durability. The Fantastic Finger Guides for cello have helped 1000s of cellist gain confidence in learning to play the cello. Please note that on rare occasion the note alignment may come in slightly sharp or flat because of a slight variance that can occur between cello makes. There is a simple solution to this problem. If the pitches land too sharp, simply remove the finger guide and trim off a portion of the triangles at the top and reapply. If they come in too flat, then simply lower the finger guide on the neck. As a last option you may loosen the strings slightly and using both hands adjust the bridge towards or away from the fingerboard until the sticker is centered on the pitches. This version ends right before it hits the body.** A: I haven't seen what you are seeking, but you might make your own extension with something like painter's tape that won't damage the surface. **Q: Will either size work on a 7/8 cello?** A: Sorry neither of these work for a 7/8 size cello. The only suggestion would be to buy the 4/4 size cello and then cut it into strips. You can use a tuner to find the spots to lay the strips. **Q: Do you have one for mandolin?** A: The mandolin and violin tune identically, but the necks shape/size are different as well as the mandolin has frets while the violin is fretless.
