Brannan Oven Thermometer for Fan and Gas Ovens - Dial Temperature Gauge In Oven Proof Thermometer

Bought to check accuracy of oven thermostat. Chose because Brennan is a long established maker of thermometers and the Celsius scale is clearly shown around the outside (but has Fahrenheit scale also on inside). It can either stand on the oven shelf or hang from a shelf. It is larger, clearer and more accurate than my old oven thermometer. Overall, very pleased with purchase.

The down side and the reason of purchase was Celsius on the outer of the dial as most have Fahrenheit due to US market. But the figures are small and partially covered by the bevel. So OK if placed on the rack with the stand leaning back but hanging down no 👎.

This thermometer does the job. Gets in the way in the oven but can't complain at this price.

if you want to know if your ovens getting up to temperature buy one of these. I find it to be accurate and when not in use it sits on the kitchen table to tell me how warm we are. can't fault it for the price. mine was getting up to temperature but takes an age to do so.

This thermometer does the job perfectly. Easy to place on top of oven shelf or hanging below if preferred. The dial is sufficiently large and is easy to read through the glass panel of my oven. The thermometer reading matched perfectly with the temperature setting of my oven, so it appears to be very accurate. It even measures room temperature accurately when stood on my kitchen worktop!

Did the job, but fiddly to move and position when wearing oven gloves and quite often in the way 🙈 but it works.

Nice, the Celsius digits too small

The marks amd numbers are just too small.

Jeder Ofen ist anders und meiner scheint besonders motiviert zu sein, denn er gibt gerne Vollgas. Gerade bei größeren Teilen oder mehreren Blechen hilft das Thermometer ungemein, um die Temperatur anpassen zu können.Ich habe lange darüber nachgedacht, ob sich die Anschaffung wirklich lohnt, doch jetzt möchte ich das Thermometer nicht mehr missen und wünschte ich hätte es schon früher bestellt.
