No false advertising - thank you Anker !
If you look at the photos how this product is advertised, then you will learn what you are going to get. A can sized everywhere cinema with a picture size of about the half (and price of about the half) of what you would normally expect from a standard home cinema. Makes good sense to me.Built quality seems very good (time will show)No cables. Together with my 2 BOOM's, I have now 3 cans for a totally sufficient home cinema entertainment.Sure, If I push it too much (let's get the picture larger, let's get the sound louder yeeahhhh) the overall quality suffers. The picture wont be bright and sharp enough any more if you go much over 3 meters projector distance. 2.5 meters in length and some 1.5 meters in hight is what you can have as largest quality picture size. The little unit is cooling smoothly, no disturbing fan noise.Charging is quick, depleting can be as well. 1 movie over USB + a bit of WiFi.....2.5 hours total maybe, that's it. BUT I learned to push it up to 4.5 hours by using usb only (shutting off WiFi) and getting sound via Bluetooth over my Samsung In ear buds.At first I was shocked that it would not play properly, for example, AVI-files, but I learned that you can play whatever file if you run it through the VLC application. As well in the beginning I wasn't sure about what remote they where talking. I figured that I can use my smart-phone as an remote (with the proper app) but something seemed still not right. Then I found out that THERE IS indeed a remote delivered with it, hidden within the top of the packaging. Maybe I'm getting too old.A bit annoying is the blinking red light on the back of the unit, warning you that you have only 20% power left. Latest after 1.5 hours you will have a little red light distracting you. Flashing every minute would be sufficient instead of every 2 seconds. Further, if you like to connect Bluetooth and USB at the same time, you may have to figure out in which order to connect. I had troubles at first. Some compatibility problems do exist when using the remote for example the VLC app.Besides that not much negative things to tell. The kids having fun, Dad is having fun. No cables, no hassle, take it everywhere you want. Quality picture & sound. The build in speaker is totally fine when taking it to a friend or when the kids are watching. For my movie nights I still like to upgrade the sound via my bluetooth Boom's.I think that's it what I can tell about this very fine little movie helper. If you are not after the super big screen but rather after something portable and super quick to build up and down, then you should try this product. Just imagine, a huge television screen running in less than 10 seconds everywhere you want. And as it can produce a sharp (but over-bright) picture on very short distance as well, you could watch youtube on a pumpkin :)

Does exactly what is says and more. Best thing I’ve bought in years.
This exceeds my expectations. I worried after reading some negative reviews about these being with people saying: 'not bright enough', . I think it’s amazing and I don’t know what anyone is complaining about. The build quality is incredible, the volume is more than acceptable considering the size of the device. It even seems louder when using it as a Bluetooth speaker. I’ve had TVs with far worse volume and sound quality before. If you’re watching something, it’s fine, you can hear it quite clearly and louder than needed. As for the brightness; I have a big, powerful projector in my lounge. It’s really bright and starts to look a little dim if you open the curtains. This Nebula Capsule Max is plenty bright in a dark room. Even in a lit room, it’s fine but you obviously have to have a small projection. If you want it 8 feet across it will look dim. It is after all, only a projector. It’s an amazing 50 inch TV that you can fit in your handbag! If it’s dark, it’s a massive cinema screen in your handbag. The other thing I was worried about was charging and using it at the same time because of some reviews I’ve read. It works fine and is powered and works with the charger plugged in and doing its thing. The apps are great and easy to use. They work perfectly and the layout is tidy and efficient. You can download and store shows using Netflix and watch them at your leisure straight to the Capsule Max. Load it up and take it travelling with you. This is also one of the few projectors I’ve found that has horizontal keystone. Even big expensive ones rarely have it. This allows me to sit the projector on my bedside table and project straight over the foot of the bed to my screen. Genius and exactly what I was looking for.I cant see how anyone could be disappointed with this. It’s magic.

Limited apps and nonstop connectivity issues
While the image quality is good, the projector has very few apps that work properly and even its browser stopped functioning. When it comes to streaming, it always disconnects and very difficult to pair with any phone.

Good quality / value for the money
I haven't had a chance to use the projector much but will say I am satisfied so far. Anker seems to have built a solid projector with decent brightness and really good sound quality. The software is a little dated and clunky, but was able to update to the beta software which helped some. The brightness is good in darker rooms, but not very useable in a room with ambient or overhead lighting. Overall, if you want a portable, well built projector for a basement or night use, this seems to be a great option.
