I still have Craftsman tools handed down to me from my grandfathers and father, and love the tools, but the quality seems to be slipping. This wrench works well, but the finish and feel of the tool just isn't up to the usual Craftsman quality. It isn't as smooth operating either. I am not sure how durable this tool will be. I gave it four stars in the hope it will last as long as my other Craftsman tools.

Solid positive ratcheting mechanism. Heavy duty handle. Excellent quick release button and positive ratchet reversing switch. I've used Craftsman tools for years because their outstanding quality and lifetime quarantee. The design hasn't changed in decades. Why change an excellent design? I'm happy to see Craftsman didn't cheapened or redesign this particular line of tools as they did many others. I heard Sears Craftsman Division has been sold to Stanley Black and Decker as Sears continues to implode. I hope Stanley doesn't change this particular very successful line of tools.A solid, rugged tool that continues to exceed expectations. Highly recommended.

Works like it says but not the same quality as the old craftsman tools

Needed a replacement for a socket set. This one came right on time and served it purpose. Fit just like the original only issue is that it won’t fit in the case of the original.

Though the quality and durability of some Craftsman tools has declined over the years, this ratchet has held up well.

Other than the name on the handle, no better than most. Rather rough around the edges, not finished very well. That said, it’s a ratchet and it works.
